Attempted 3 times to pick up my online order and it still wasn't ready 20 minutes after it was promised. Did an online order and was supposed to be ready to pick up at 12:00. I didn't 'add' the curbside so I went inside the building. Stood in the over crowded lobby for at least 5 minutes while none of the 3+ people behind the counter even turned around to acknowledge the customers. After the people behind me got out and headed for the drive-through I did as well. When I told them I was there to pick up my order I was told it wasn't ready (it's now 12:08 mind you) and that I needed to go park. I waited another 5 minutes in the parking spot and decided to call the number. I was then told it STILL wasn't ready and I needed to come inside. The SAME people were in the lobby from the 1st time I was in. I told them my name again and once AGAIN it was still not ready. Meanwhile the drive through had cleared. Why on earth could you make the 3 cars in front of me's food but not mine? Have we not been in a Pandemic for a year now -- you really don't have to go orders down better than this? I would have left earlier but I had already paid and had wasted half of my lunch break. Will not...

I don’t know what ancient curse hovers over this location, but somehow, they’ve turned bad service into an Olympic sport. The food? Fine. Great, even. The reason I keep crawling back like a battered fast-food optimist. But the service? It’s like they all made a blood pact to see how long a customer can stand before losing the will to live. Fifteen-minute waits for a simple order, every single time.
And heaven forbid you mention an allergy or ask a question they’ll look at you like you’ve just asked them to solve a Rubik’s cube blindfolded. Sauces? Always forgotten. And anyone who knows fast food knows: no sauce = no joy.
Today’s experience was the cherry on top of this sad sundae. After the usual wait, I get home to find my chicken sandwich missing the promised full toppings, no lettuce, no tomato, and definitely not the “extra sauce” I requested unless “extra” now means “phantom.”
Will I come back? Probably. Because I’m apparently a masochist and the food still slaps. But the staff? Let’s just say they’re clearly in a competition to see who can care the least and so far, they’re...
Read moreMy fiancé and I ordered curbside pickup as we aren't currently entering buildings due to COVID-19 and living with vulnerable people. At the scheduled time we called and were informed we'd have to come in to get our food because they were too busy to bring it out but then also told it wasn't ready (20 minutes after placing the order.) We called 5 minutes later and were told it still wasn't ready and I informed them we would be in the curbside space whenever it was ready. At the 40 minute mark I called and asked for a manager and was told they were swamped but we were next. At the 50 minute mark our food finally came out. We could have gone through the drive thru 4 times or more. Then the food: the chicken tasted like it was cooked in old or burned oil. I love Zaxby's - I introduced my fiancé to it and was thrilled when he picked it for lunch along our drive. I opted not to mention the foul taste as I didn't want to add to an already negative situation but he brought it up and we both noted that it left a foul, burned/rancid flavor in our mouths. This location definitely needs some rescuing...
