I placed on online order for a $40 birthday cake which was paid for when the order was placed. The order generated a confirmation email with the order details, pickup time, and the order number. When I arrived at the correct Cold Stone location after the time to pick up the order, I was told that the location did not have any record of my order. Showing the rude employee my confirmation email did absolutely nothing. I waited while the two employees helped other customers. When they finally got back to me I was told that the ordered cake was not in stock, but I could have a different one that was in stock. Not having another option, I took what was available. One of the employees wrote âhappy birthdayâ as requested on the original order after helping even more customers. The cake itself was good (as I would expect for a $40 cake), but the whole experience was pretty bad. I got something different than what I ordered. I had to wait over 30 minutes to get the cake that was different from what I ordered because the employees were much more focused on helping other customers. I was not offered ANY compensation for getting the wrong thing and waiting. But the worst part was the way that I was treated by the employees. Somehow they were basically saying that it was my fault that the cake was not there and ready to go despite me several times showing them the confirmation email. That is why you can taste the difference from one McDonald's, for example, to another. One place might dial up the proportion of the ice element to save money, and then the ice cream tastes watered down and sometimes even has kind of a slushy consistency. That's what I paid top dollar for at this Cold Stone yesterday. This extreme low quality of product was surprising and disappointing.    Read moreTerrible management. Went here with my girlfriend to pick up an order. Nobody greeted us when we walked in and when we asked to pick up the order they couldn't find it. Whenever she asked about her order or if she needs to re-order it, the employees would just stare at her. I had to explain multiple times that we were just going to order it in the store and forget about the pick up since they didn't have it. There were 5 people working and it took 10 minutes to get the order and pay, I was almost done with my ice cream by the time she got hers. When she finally got her order there wasn't even enough ice cream to fill the bowl and it was mostly just mix-ins. Will not be...
