On Sunday, August 18th, my sister and I decided to treat ourselves to a small date at what we thought would be a nice, casual spot. Unfortunately, our expectations were far from met. As soon as we walked into the store, the first person who greeted us, who was responsible for spreading the sauce and cheese on the pizza, clearly lacked basic skills. It was evident that he didn't know how to evenly spread the sauce and cheese, which set the tone for the rest of the experience.
Next, the person in charge of adding the toppings seemed to struggle with communication. He spoke so quietly that I had to ask the same question three times, and despite that, he still managed to get my order wrong. I requested two toppings, but somehow ended up with three—an obvious case of miscommunication, although I tried my best to be clear. And didn’t know what type of meat were in the meatballs and other meats as well. He said “idk maybe”, that was concerning for me since i am highly allergic to pork.
The experience continued to deteriorate when we reached the checkout. The person who finalized our order, who I suspect was the manager, had a stern and unfriendly demeanor, as if he had no interest in being there. He seemed annoyed, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable. We ended up paying around $30 for two pizzas and two extra drinks, but what happened next was even more concerning.
When we went to open our drinks next to the register, we noticed that most of them had mold on the caps. It was disgusting and honestly made me want to ask for a refund, but I didn’t want to create a scene. Although the pizzas themselves tasted decent, we weren’t warned about how hot they were, so both my sister and I ended up burning our mouths. To top it off, they even charged extra for ranch, which just seemed excessive.
Overall, what was supposed to be a simple and enjoyable outing turned into a frustrating and...
Read moreHands down some of the best pizza in town.... amazing.
The place was nice and empty when I went with my wife...I liked how it has several different seating options (bar, booth, outside patio). Only negative comment were that we entered and no greetings from the staff. We stood there ready to order for like 3-4 mins...the girls just kept on making pizzas...no "we'll be right with you".. nothing. It was pretty awkward standing there...like they wanted to avoid even eye contact.
On to the pizza...I love the choose your own toppings places. They have numerous combinations you can choose from as far as cheese goes (mozzarella, parmesan), veggies, and proteins.
I had the cauliflower crust with pepperoni, sausage, chorizo, jalapenos, mushrooms, and banana peppers. The pizza came out piping hot and delicious! Again...it was delicious. Whether it was the crust or the combination of ingredients or the way it was made...as they say it was a "perfect pizza pie".
The crust was perfectly toasted...the thickness of the pizza was thin crust type so it wasn't extremely filling. Sometimes you only eat 2-3 slices at other places and you feel loaded down with the flour. I ate the whole thing and didn't feel like I had a 2lb weight on my stomach.
My wife also loved her pizza...loved it.
Great thing of this place is they had draft...and several selections. I had the local 5x5 Bombshell draft and it was a perfect complement to the pizza. They also had other types of fruit drinks of combinations that aren't found elsewhere (cucumber/mint, mango/lemonade). We sampled a few and each one tasted natural and not pumped full of sugar.
Overall... this place is a definite 5 star (even though the workers don't greet you)... recommended...
Read moreI went in excited to find a new place which offers gluten free pizza as I suffer from celiac disease and I have a limited menu at most places. The crust was decent can’t complain. But the pepperoni legit burnt and went from normal size to the size of a hot dog cut into slices. I ordered it to go which at the time of my arrival there was only one person ahead of me and no one behind me. There were 7 people working there of which most were too busy socializing among themselves rather than working. As my pizza cooked a gentleman arrived and he was waiting to be taken care of. The lady at the line was way too busy conversating with the person at the oven. The other five people were also talking with each other and no one paying attention to that poor soul. When my pizza came out of the oven. I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to decide to cut my pizza and put it in a box while it sat on the counter getting cold because I’m guessing they get paid to socialize with each other rather than taking care of their clientele. Management and employees were doing that. Two managers were literally in front of my pizza and did not cut it nor box it. Until someone decided to come and do so. I was very upset at the negligence and lack of efficiency of pretty much ALL the staff present that day. Whoever the owner is should check the cameras Bc he’s losing money and will lose clients with that kind of...
