CLO Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Edison

Before getting into the coffee, "Be Kind" is the mood we need right now! CLO Coffee is a must visit spot for coffee in Edison and a place the town has never really had (coming from someone who's lived here for 19 years)

[Drinks] My family and I got a latte, matcha latte and iced drip coffee with oat milk - we all really enjoyed each item that we got! As a New Yorker, I probably have high expectations when it comes to coffee (just because I'm fortunate to have so many awesome coffee shops in the city) but I was super happy to see CLO stacked up against the best.

[Interior] Also love the interior - the all black and modern attention to details! Even the kit kat box near the counter was black

[Extras] there's a conference room and solo phone booth on the side so the shop is setting itself up as a coworking space as well - highschoolers in Edison, take advantage!

[People] They're kind alright! My family walked in on a quiet Saturday and the owner (Ralph I believe) chatted with us and explained his story of owning the shop. Support them!

Definitely going back whenever I'm home...

Finding a place like this around the area will probably be a difficult task. It's a traditional pour over kind of coffee shop much like you could find in the city, but the care and dedication they put into every single drink is what sets Flo apart.

Off the bat, prices are a bit higher than other options, but it's a local business that pumps our quality drinks, doesn't skimp on sizes, and gives you something other places can't.

During busy times, it can get busy. Expect to wait in certain moments, but their own personal online ordering system is great, comes with rewards, and can get you in and out quicker.

The vibe is super down to earth. Comfortable seating, great music, and an overall comfortable and welcoming atmosphere that invites you to stay a while and for a few drinks.

Everything, from regular coffees to their lattes, is made by baristas who care and put the time into crafting you a quality beverage. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend...

The ambience is very cozy and cool. Lots of seating options - couch, tables&chairs and bar stools. They also have private and meeting rooms that can be booked. The lady was busy with another chore, so I called out to her that I was ready to order. She very nicely said she would be with me in a second and she was. She took my order of cappuccino and iced matcha latte. However I wanted the latte to-go I asked her to make that when I was ready to leave. She very nicely asked me to let her know when I was ready to leave. I sat down at the couch and when my cappuccino was ready, she actually brought it over to me instead of calling out my name, which is what happens at other cafes. I would give this place a 5 star just for that! Drink was great. Matcha latte was good, not great as per my daughter to who I took it to. Loved the place and would definitely go back for another coffee....
