Park Deli & Grill — Restaurant in Edison

I reviewed this deli over a year ago and gave a five stars. What a difference a year makes went into the establishment cook is not wearing a mask register person not wearing a mask. Went to order off the menu screen home price 2.99 used to be a dollar 1.99 I understand inflation. Get to the register they charge me 3.99 when I stopped and questioned . That she made a mistake behind the register the sign clearly says 2.99 on the overhead display. She commented oh you can't go by those prices we have a whole new set of prices when I asked where those prices are posted she says they're not .she will tell you when you get to the register. Tried to explain her that's false advertising can I advertise One price and charge more than the price advertised. The cook came over spoke to her in her own language and then she charged me 299 as it was listed but then overcharged me for the coffee. Well I guess this is the last time I will come...

I used to frequent this establishment practically daily. However, yesterday, I had a terrible experience with the cook there.. I was waiting online and this man asked me if I needed anything. I responded “no”. He proceeded to give me dirty looks. When I asked whether there was an issue, he proceeded yell at me from behind the counter with me. As a result, I ended leaving the store. As a black man, I refuse to tolerate this type of targeted profiling and disrespect. I am using all my resources to ensure that the people I know don’t shop here again, starting with my neighbors, employees, and social media following. They use to make Home made Maccaroni salad & potato salad now it comes out of a bucket B/C Victor the cook only makes it like once a month as opposed to making is Daily/Consistently every week when it comes froma bucket it Zero Stars when Victor makes it it's 4stars!! Hopefully the owner will see this post and have Victor his chef make it every weeks which will be better for everyone and when Victor makes it than it sells out...
