STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. THERES ANOTHER ONE JUST A FEW MINUTES AWAY SO GO TO THAT INSTEAD.
I bought a double portion of tuna for my footlong sandwich and this barely had enough tuna for a single portion. As you see in the picture below I took apart the sandwich to take a picture of it just because of how shocked I was. I’m not sure if you could tell but the bread underneath was literally showing. I the called the location to ask for a refund due to the fact that I didn’t get what I ordered and because I live in Wayne, NJ which is an hour away from Edison. The lady who made my order told me she put 4 scoops of tuna on my sandwich, and I let her know I ordered a double portion so there should’ve been more and that this barely looks like a single portion. She said she could add scoops to my sandwich if I came back to the store but I told her I wasn’t gonna drive an hour and wanted my refund. She refused my request and stated it was “impossible” and then I told her I’d contact corporate and contest the charge on my credit card and she very abruptly hung up in anger.
I have been going to subway since I was a child and I haven’t changed my order since and never had I had an issue with them putting less protein on my sandwich. I also did some research on Reddit later on when she told me she put “4 scoops” but apparently that’s a standard portion and I ordered a double so… even with her justifying herself she was wrong. I would stay away from this location. The owners and employees seem to be extremely cheap. I think they saw me order on the app and get a deal for double portion and they then decided to give me less. When purchasing our hoagies online it says we could make it a meal with a drink and a chip or cookie. We changed our mind and wanted a cookie while at the store. This wS a rlly simple opportunity to perform good customer service but the Girl employee would not allow it. 2) Then she told us to fill out the survery and the receipt says we could get a free cookie so we did so and presented her the code. The recipt says we could get a free cookie, says nothing about needing to purchase something but she told us we had to purchase something (she originally did not tell us that and also the receipt doesnt tell u that). The grl who told us we could do this, then told us we could not get the free cookie and did not know what to do with the code. Your workers know me too but once I and my boyfriend purchased a foot long sandwich and the lady who was there she burned it and packed it because it was for take out. When i complained so their associates refused to give me money back or exchnge it with another one . Their manager said he can’t give it to me and he will give it to my boyfriend only. I told him and showed him the proof that i paid for it not my boyfriend and he can’t come back cuz he live far away but still he Didn’t give it to me and repeated the same thing .
