Yaraku Ramen truly knows how to make every dish feel like a warm hug in a bowl. On my recent visit, I tried their Vegetable Ramen, Shrimp Tempura, and Fried Chicken (Karaage) — and each dish stood out in its own way.

🥦 Vegetable Ramen

The Vegetable Ramen was wonderfully fresh and hearty. The broth had surprising depth — light yet flavorful, with a delicate balance of soy and miso undertones. You could really taste the effort that went into the simmering process; it had that slow-cooked umami warmth without being heavy. The noodles were perfectly cooked — springy, firm, and satisfying with every bite. What really elevated the dish were the vegetables: crisp bok choy, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and corn that added layers of texture and color. It’s the kind of ramen that proves vegetarian dishes can be just as comforting and fulfilling as any meat-based bowl.

🍤 Shrimp Tempura

The Shrimp Tempura was golden perfection — lightly battered, airy, and crisp without feeling greasy. The shrimp inside was juicy and tender, cooked just right so it didn’t lose its natural sweetness. The dipping sauce had a mild soy flavor with a hint of sweetness that complemented the tempura beautifully. Served fresh and hot, every bite was crunchy bliss. It’s clear the kitchen pays attention to the temperature and oil quality — no soggy coating, no heaviness, just clean, crisp flavor.

🍗 Fried Chicken (Karaage)

The Fried Chicken was another hit. Crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy inside, and seasoned with that perfect mix of garlic, soy, and subtle ginger notes. It arrived piping hot, with a satisfying crunch that didn’t overwhelm the tender meat. The portion size was generous, making it an ideal appetizer to share (or not share — it’s that good). Paired with a drizzle of their house sauce and a squeeze of lemon, it was addictive in the best way possible.

💬 Overall Experience

The service was warm and attentive, the presentation simple yet appealing, and the food arrived quickly despite the busy dinner rush. What I loved most is that Yaraku Ramen manages to combine authenticity with freshness — you can taste the care in every dish.

Whether you’re vegetarian, a seafood lover, or someone who enjoys comforting fried sides, this place offers something for everyone. Highly recommend: Vegetable Ramen for a lighter meal, Shrimp Tempura for that perfect crunch, and Karaage Chicken if you’re craving something crispy and savory.

✨ A cozy spot with top-notch flavors — definitely one of the best ramen experiences...

Yaraku Ramen was recommended to me by a dear friend some time ago, and I finally got to visit it the other day with my boyfriend. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner of the place, who is an incredibly sweet guy, extremely professional, knowledgeable about his craft, and yet very personable. He graciously walked us through the menu and recommended excellent dishes. We ended up ordering the Special Yaraku Ramen, which was absolutely delicious. We both loved the rich, flavorful broth, and the pork in it was incredibly tender and melt-in-your-mouth soft. We also ordered two Chicken Katsu Bao buns and then decided to try the same thing but with pork, which was equally delightful – I highly recommend both versions! We're thrilled we made it there and had such a pleasant and delicious lunch. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, adding to the wonderful experience. We will most certainly be back to explore more of their mouthwatering menu. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's truly one of the best dining experiences in Middlesex County. Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or just looking for a great meal, Yaraku Ramen is...

I came here for dinner after yelp searching for places to eat around the area. First impression when I came into the restaurant was not bad. and it’s pretty clean too. Not a big restaurant but I saw a large group of at least 7 or 8 people seated along with 3 or 4 other tables filled too. I have a 4yr old toddler and a 1.5mos newborn in the baby carseat with me. The server was very nice and polite with greeting us and trying to provide booster and high chair for me. We ordered Tan Tan Don, Truffle Butter with extra ramen, and Black Garlic Ramen. Food taste good. Not too salty. One thing I thought would have make the bowl of ramen more satisfying is if the soup was hotter. Besides this, the food quality and taste are pretty good. During the entire meal, the waitresses were constantly checking to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything additional. Good customer service there. Although not much social distancing with the table seating, but the waitresses both have masks on at all time. A bottle of hand sanitizer was provided on the table for the customers. I wouldn’t mind revisiting this...

Ramen places appear to be popping up all over the place lately. Yakaru is one of the newest as I write this review. I would rate this somewhere between 3 & 4 stars. To me the ramen was average and good for a quick fix. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The air conditioning problem they had earlier seems to be fixed now. The problem for me is probably how experienced I am in ramen restaurants now... I've tried over a hundred ramen restaurants in different states and countries. The food is nothing spectacular. The pork fried Gyoza is steady but uninspired. The pork buns felt like they needed more pork for the bread/bun size and thickness used. The Shoyu Ramen was average... Nothing particularly wrong but nothing that stands out either. The special yaraku ramen was a bit more pugnent and more enjoyable. The ramen didn't stand out particularly but there was nothing wrong with it. If you're in the area it great for a quick fix for ramen bit I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there as of yet.
