If you’re planning to take your car to the Edison Walmart Auto Service Center with the naive hope that your scheduled appointment time actually means something—prepare to be disappointed. Deeply. Think you’ll be in and out in an hour? Think again. Two hours? Not a chance. You’d be lucky to escape in under four. This place operates as if time has no meaning—and your time, especially, is clearly of no importance to them. Let me be blunt: this location should be a drop-off center only. There is absolutely no reason to have people sitting around waiting for hours while they scramble to accommodate appointments they are clearly unequipped to handle. They are woefully understaffed, and the only thing they seem to do efficiently is offer excuses. The favorite phrase I kept hearing during my time there? “We don’t have enough technicians.” Over and over. As if that somehow justifies the complete lack of organization and regard for customer time. It’s unprofessional, inconsiderate, and honestly, unacceptable for a business that expects people to show up on time when they can’t return the same courtesy. I arrived at 10:00 AM. As I write this, it’s 1:22 PM—and I’m still here. Another customer who arrived at the same time just left 20 minutes ago. How is this even remotely acceptable? This is not how a business should operate. Either schedule fewer appointments, hire more staff, or stop pretending that this is a one-hour service experience. Tell customers upfront: “Drop your car off. Come back in four hours.” Be transparent. Set realistic expectations. Respect people’s time. Because right now? You’re doing none of that.

Very nice place and it's good to see great deals and prices on products. You get everything here unless you need typical Indian groceries

I visited this Walmart when I had to return some items bought online and use their customer service at this place. The customer service agent that we got was decent but took a lot of time to get our refund processed. She kept on checking the item and then cross checked whether it had a return policy available (it did because we got the item within a few days and it stated online that it had return protection for up to 30 days) so that was a little baffling. Nonetheless, we got the item refunded. Once you’re in a Walmart location you really can’t just leave like that without checking what they have in store so that’s what we did. We went in to check the produce section (which was utterly lacking here at the time), we checked the frozen section and everything in between for grocery hunting. One thing that I did notice is that they lack organic sections for their grocery products be it chicken or eggs or dairy. They do have a few but the options are far less then other stores. If you shop at this Walmart purely for groceries, you might want to visit another dedicated grocery store to get all your items from your checklist. This Walmart has all the COVID precautions in place with the mandatory mask on policy and social distancing. They have different sections such as electronics, house improvements and many other. Overall, this is a huge store with all the necessary things that you’d need available to you along with a decent grocery selection.

Today I Went into the Walmart store. And I was Completely Humiliated by a Cashier at the cash wrap by the curbside Pickup Station... She Yelled at me for getting in her line- Meanwhile this very Heavy set Man stood in front of the Sign that said closed lane! They knew each other and both proceeded to calling me Stupid for not seeing the sign! (Closed Lane) How could I See it? The Heavy set Man was standing in front of the sign with his cart blocking as well as his body! And he Never said a word until she started yelling at me!

OMG, THEY KNEW EACH OTHER! THEY CURSED ME OUT IN THERE LANGUAGE! 😳-HOW RUDE!

How could anyone want to shop this place? Wish it allowed for negative stars! I could not stand the horror of hearing this story. My wife, disabled mother in law and 9 year old daughter went there on Memorial Day to get a swim suit for my daughter for a pool party we were going to. The fitting room attendant refused to let my daughter in to try on a bathing suit and told my wife it’s because of diseases as she stared at my 9 year old daughter; which terrified her and made her cry. Ma was the fitting room woman’s name. How in anyone’s right mind could someone say that to a child! She then began to argue with my wife and an alleged manager named A*y (who wore no vest to identify herself as a manager) then told my wife that she could buy the bathing suit, take it to the bathroom to try it on (which is disgusting in itself), and turned to the associate and said if she returns it dispose of it right away (again in front of my wife and daughter). We rarely shop in Walmart and even more rarely in Edison. And it’s for good reason. That is disgusting behavior and both should be terminated. We called customer service who were really shocked by this and told us that a Store Manager would call us back directly. Still no one has (shocking). They directed us to the next closest store as it was an urgent need, and so we went to the one in Rt 18 which was an amazing experience and right by where we were traveling to. Super kind, super helpful on Rt 18 with no questions at all. Absolutely accommodating. Maybe if your “Managers” in Edison took just a few caring minutes and were concerned with taking care of your customers rather than rushing back outside of the store to the BBQ they were all gathered at and not caring at all about the business; your customers would be more happy. At least RT 18 team does it right. This group gives Edison a bad name. It was still over a $165 shopping trip on RT 18. Maybe big Walmart may not care about this, but consumers sure should. I just came back from this store after speaking with customer service for 45 mins trying to get a price match on a AC.. Customer service told me that if I go in store they will be able to price match the item.. Mind you that I did end up showing the representative that I was chatting with both links 1 belonging to Walmart and another website is at another store and she did NOT say anything about the links!! I even confirmed with her over the chat will it be okay if I go into the store and show them the third party link that shows that price difference she stated "YES"!!

I go into the store find the item and then I go up to a worker and was informing her that I will be needing assistance with the transaction because of the price match I should her the item that I was purchasing and sh stated that they do not do price matches in the store.. I was like your customer service representative stated that if I go into the store you guys will be able to price match in the store if I bring the item I am wanting to buy and showing you guys the link of where I found the lower price.. She went off and brought her manager and my husband ended up speaking with the manager and the guy was reading off the policy in front of us and he never even mentioned a 3rd party vendor or outside store while reading and then he goes and ask another supervisor and the guy stated that we do not do price match with outside stores... I explained to the guy that is not what the customer service representative said over the phone... And I left...

WALMART NEEDS TO HONOR TRANSACTION THIS BECAUSE IT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THE POLICY OF THE COMPANY THEY WORK FOR!!! THIS IS FALSE INFORMATION THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME AND IT IS NOT MY FAULT WALMART NEEDS TO TRAIN THEIR...
