Read moreThis was my first time visiting, and getting there was pretty straightforward. They have two handicap parking spots right in front of the restaurant, which is great, and additional parking is available in the back. The place itself has a really nice atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. As soon as I walked in, a staff member greeted me and walked me to my seat. I loved the ordering process!I simply scanned the QR code, placed my order, and paid all at once. It was super convenient and efficient! One of the coolest surprises was the pitcher of Citrus Bliss Infused Water that the host brought over without me even asking. I really needed it and ended up drinking the whole thing by myself! It was so refreshing! Now, let’s talk about the food. Everything was absolutely delicious! I ordered the pineapple bun with butter, and it was heavenly, perfectly sweet, warm, and buttery. I also got the scrambled eggs and beef rice with tomato sauce, and wow, the flavors were incredible! Every bite was packed with so much taste and comfort. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, a fun atmosphere, and...
Read moreI visited on a Sunday night for dinner. The parking lot was full, but this restaurant was very empty. It seems people were avoiding this restaurant.
What I liked: Location is great, good parking, many other great restaurants, grocery, dessert and snacks nearby. Service was efficient and my food was prepared quite fast.
What I didn’t like: I ordered the Eel Egg rice for $17 which already seemed quite expensive. The portion size looks large, but it was 60% rice. My dish included a surprisingly small portion of (frozen store bought) eel, exactly one broccoli and two pieces of carrots, maybe about two eggs. Unfortunately my vegetables were still cold. They were probably cooked, but felt like they weren’t fully defrosted. The rice was a bit firm, as if they didn’t add enough water to the rice cooker or the rice was old. Lastly, the menu had about 40% of items crossed off the menu. Is this because they opened only a couple weeks ago? Shouldn’t they make a new menu with updated items?
I know quite a few people are excited that this style of Cantonese style has finally opened in Edison - however it seems they have a lot to improve on before I visit here...
