The smells from outside were beautiful the second we got out of the car. When we walked in, the service was warm and friendly and inviting. We came at a time where it was slow, so everyone was a little bored, but it quickly picked up. The entire place was spotless.

The service was so fast, we hadn’t even finished paying and our food was brought out. I’ve never had that happen in any restaurant. Even the “fast food” places.

Onto the food. I ordered the brisket sandwich, as well as the turkey leg. My brother ordered the same sandwich, and some fries. Both of our sandwiches were juicy, flavorful, and messy. Like real BBQ should be. If you aren’t messy, it’s not real BBQ. The fries were ok. Not the best I’ve had, but not terrible either. They were fresh and hot. A good mixture of crunch with it softness inside. The turkey leg was pretty good. It was a little dry, but I believe that’s because it’s insanely difficult to keep turkey juicy while smoking it. It has just the right amount of Smokey flavor, and it literally fell off the bone. If it wasn’t for the skin, the entire leg would have fallen off the bone.

While I was eating, Coach O and his staff were fantastic, friendly, and seemed to love the job they are doing. They followed up asking us what we thought, and took what little(and frankly I was really just nitpicking at that point) criticisms I had with a smile and a thank you.

All in all, I had a fantastic experience. I can not wait till I’m back in town to try this place again. This is real BBQ, this staff is real, and the effort and love is clear.

Thank you for the amazing food,...

Iwent in around 4 to order takeout. Everything was very clean and the team was incredibly helpful with the questions I had as it was my first time. There are covid protocols still in place which is awesome to see steps still being taken to protect the team and guests. When my food was ready, the person who took my order brought it out directly to me. Everything was packaged really well for the drive home and I was given plastic cutlery as well as extra bbq sauce.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwhich, a side of baked beans, and a sliced polish sausage. The pulled pork sandwhich came on toasted bread and a good amount of meat. The bbq sauce was light which worked well with the sauce on the side so I could control how saucy the pork was. The baked beans were incredible. The sliced sausage was really good as well. I'm not personally a big sausage person but I always have to try it out because my dad loves sausage. I will definitely recommend him to check out the sausage.

I love baked beans and frankly they were my favorite part of everything. The sweetness of the sauce wasn't overly sweet and the sauce was nice and thick with great depth and flavor. I genuinely can't begin to say how much I loved the beans. There was also a faint spice to the beans, as well as the sausage. If you like spicy food, it's not spicy at all. If you can't handle heat, these are spicy.

I definitely will be going back and probably will make this one of my regular...

We had Big O's for lunch today. It was our first time in, so we wanted to try it all. We had ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. For sides we had baked beans, white potato salad, steak fries, and fried okra. The fries and okra were good, but not the star of the menu. The white potato salad had a good flavor. I thought the baked beans were really flavorful and delicious. The brisket was tender and flavorful. I prefer sliced brisket, and Big O's is pulled, like pulled pork. The pulled pork was good also, but again, not the star of the menu. I really enjoyed the polish sausage. It had a good casing that snapped when you bit it. Now, finally, for the star of the menu: THE RIBS!! They fell off the bone, which I love. They were so tender and juicy. AND SO BIG!!! We had the 3 rib platter, and we recieved 3 huge ribs with 2 sides for $12. I thought the BBQ sauce was really good too. Thick and sweet, no vinegar taste. I do wish they offered a spicier sauce as well. I loved my overall experience, the staff was friendly...

I had lunch here today. I wasn't blown away. It was 1230pm on a Thursday and no one was else was eating inside. I got the pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides. They just didn't have 2 sides I cared for, so I got double steak fries. Would have been nice to see mac and cheese or a corn option. The pulled pork was average but not moist unless BBQ sauce was lathered in it. The steak fries were just steak fries you'd get anywhere. I also wish they serviced fresh iced tea. The part I would highly suggest changing is refrigerating the huge bottles of ketchup, they are supposed to be after opening and it tasted spoiled to me. Picture shows this is on the bacj for a reason. Which made me question if any of the condiments on the table like BBQ were ever refrigerated but I can say for a fact the ketchup on my table and the others around me were not.

Today was my first time eating here and I was not impressed. The ribs didn't look fresh and the hot links were garbage. Why was my ribs looking like leftovers from a cookout. The potato salad looked like yellow rice. I get my carry out food home and the ribs looked like this. I try my hardest to support black owned businesses. The little mustard pack was old because it was mushy like play doh. I'm highly disappointed. What ever happened to food presentation. Please do better as a black owned business. What a waste of my $30. My sister's dogs will enjoy this b.s.
