I don't normally leave reviews, but I can't let ya'll (negative reviewers) dog on Eggroll Express like this. I've been coming here since I was a child, and it's always been the same food & same staff. On the comments about the staff being rude: This is clearly a family owned restaurant, it's always the same staff. They are open 54 hours a week, with a 30 minute lunch break, working in a hot kitchen. They don't have time for BS. On the price issues: the only online menu was posted by a customer years ago, you should expect (especially after 2020 & recent inflation) that the pricing/menu may change. Regardless, this is the one of the only places left that I can get a meal for $10 anymore, and not only that, I always have left overs (and I'm not a small person). Let's compare getting a 3 finger combo at Canes to ordering a sweet and sour chicken meal from Eggroll - I pay more at Canes & get less food. Eggroll Express has always had great size portions for the pricing, period. The only downside is they are STILL cash only, but they do have an ATM in the store, or you can go to the 7/11 ATM across the street. All in all, don't let these reviews fool you, they are reasonably priced for the food portions, and they aren't rude, they are from a different culture and don't have time to mess around. And my favorite part: it's the only place I've found that has CRISPY sweet &...
Read moreWe decided to try a Chinese eatery based solely through online ratings, and are we glad we did. After completing our smooth ( our order taker was easily understood) telephone order, we were over an hour late in picking up our order, and I was bummed that our food would be cold. While we were waiting for the order to be packaged, a kind lady came out and told us that because we were over an hour in getting there, she was making our order FRESH! Didn't take 5 minutes. After a 25 minute drive home, my appetizers (fried shrimp and 2 egg rolls) were still very warm and very crispy. All 4 of us loved our selections.
I've shopped at various stores at that intersection for over 12 years and never noticed this little hole in the wall, but was told they've been there forever, and now I know why!
Nothing fancy, mind you, just good food. 4 platters, that come with eggroll, fried rice, wonton and egg drop soup (soup is before 3pm only) with two appetizers came to $44 and change w/ tax.
Highly recommended.

Read moreTHIS PLACE, is great. It’s fast, it’s fresh, it’s old school 20th century quick service American style. Everything is wok fried or crispy fried. It’s all made from to order. None of their crispy products are frozen. The shrimp was tender and butterflied (clean!). Egg rolls look too perfect to be hand rolled but it’s just evidence of mastery. They are the variety with crunchy cabbage, veg, and black pepper pork, perfection. 2 for $5?? I’m never stopping for a budget lunch at a drive thru or oncue again.
I’m in love at first bite. Good value. No frills dining room. Eat in or take away. This is the kind of place that you will find in towns along the I-44/Union Pacific corridor. They had NO problem throwing a big spoonful of chili into my food. I expected it to be paper and plastic 100% but they serve on porcelain w/ cutlery. That’s a huge bonus for this type of cuisine. It’s a dying breed of restaurant. I...
