Edit: still love Old School Bagel but it is frustrating when we have to sign the card reader through the drive through. It would be one thing if we could just tap our card and be done with it but we have to hold onto this greasy card reader for a few minutes while it asks you for a tip. The workers are great and deserve to be compensated for their hard work but why does it have to be the customer who tips instead of the company paying them a bit more? I don’t get asked to tip at any other drive through, I go there because I want to be quick. So if this could be solved it would be awesome! I know I can order ahead and what not but sometimes I’m just in a hurry or randomly stop in and now I always dread going through the drive thru.

Absolutely LOVE these bagels. I am addicted. I eat here at least 2-3 times a week. Their everything bagels are THE best. The service is typically really good, they hire college students it seems and they all seem like really good people. Really excited they finally have a drive through box to...

Now coming from a large city like Chicago or even the suburbs a lot of people will know how hard is to find those small places you fall in love with. I first stumbled upon this location while at an interview at the post office right by it in December. Skeptical at first I decided to pop in and check it out.

It was filled with a good amount of customers and the atmosphere wasn't one where you felt on guard right as you walk in. The staff was curteous as I was having some trouble with what I wanted to order. My order was brought out quickly and it was a pleasure for a first time experience.

The biggest thing for me is that the lighting was appropriate and not overly bright but exuded a small coffee house/ small town feel to it which reminded me of home and it's hard to find places like that anymore.

Only thing I would recommend is having the pizza bagel on an asiago bagel to accent the cheese and pepperoni better. Other than that well done everyone, i am definitely a returning...

I was the inly customer in at the time. Last time I went through the drive through, and the place was super busy, so I was glad to have the chance to go inside, since it wasn't busy.

Last time, I had a breakfast bagel sandwich with egg and avocado. It was pretty good, but I was feeling more of a lunch vibe today, so I went for a turkey sandwich instead. The website lists it as a turkey guacamole, but apparently that's not up to date - it's a turkey avocado instead. Fine by me, especially as this visit and last, my sandwich had plenty of avocado slices.

The sandwich was good, and the bagel was excellent. Good flavor, perfect texture. I also got a tea with steamed milk and honey that tasted as good as if I'd made it myself. Not too sweet, just the right amount of milk.

My boyfriend ordered an El Fuego, and he said it was definitely spicy, in a good way. He also got a white mocha, which he enjoyed.

We will...

Old School Bagel on Covell in Edmond is hands-down one of our family’s favorite breakfast spots. Their bagels are always fresh and perfectly toasted, with that ideal balance of chewy and crisp. My personal favorite is the Firecracker Bagel on jalapeño cheddar—it’s got just the right amount of kick and flavor. What really sets this place apart, though, is their attention to detail and care. The staff always takes extra precautions to avoid cross-contamination when preparing my wife’s gluten-free bagels, which we deeply appreciate. It’s rare to find a local spot that combines great food with genuine thoughtfulness. Our kids are huge fans too—they can’t get enough of the plain bagel with blueberry cream cheese, which has become a weekend tradition. Between the friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and consistently delicious food, Old School Bagel is a gem in Edmond that never disappoints.

Best bagels in town, far better than Panera Bread. We ordered a plain bagel and an Asiago Bagel with cream cheese. Both were easy to eat and were not to firm or chewy. Customer service has always been great and the cashiers are friendly and helpful. When we needed more time to look over the menu they actually handed us a paper menu so we didn't have to stare up at the elevated menu which was nice, especially since my wife was in a wheelchair. The location might look small from the outside but there are plenty of tables and seating options both inside and outside. The far back corner even has a cozy fake fireplace which is nice if you want to sit around and enjoy your coffee or chat with friends. They even have public restrooms.

I've always had good bagels from all locations. It's got a really good chewy outside with a great soft texture on the inside. It's so far the closest place to new york style bagels that I have found. I always get a lox sandwich. When they put on the cream cheese, they tend to be heavier than other places which is how I like it. I also sometimes get a box of bagels and I like how rhey wrap up any bagels that can mess with the other flavors of the other bagels like an onion or everything bagel. The coffee and lattes are alright but it's a bagel shop, not a coffee shop so the coffee isn't the focus. Their lattes are on the sweeter side which I like but something to keep in mind. Over all great service and great bagels.
