Taco Bell — Restaurant in Edmond

We went here (the Kelly one near Lowe's) on mid-afternoon of a Sunday. They had a decent amount of customers, but it was not "busy". Our cashier was a man named Wesley (his name, according to our receipt), who was rude with his tone towards us. We ordered 5 regular soft tacos (they are supposed to be $1.29). They bumped us up to Supreme for $1.89, which cost us $3 ($9.45 vs $6.45) more for what we didn't want and didn't get. They knew exactly what they were doing because the lady repeated it back to us on the mic, but then billed us for 5 supreme tacos. When we gave them the change of $20.20 for a meal that was $15.19 ($3 + tax more than it should have been) Wesley gave us change for less than $5, then wanted to argue that when he threw the money into his machine "it said" the change back should be less than $5 and when presented with the discrepancy Wesley said that "Well, I believe the machine mam" in a very caustic tone. When we asked to talk to the manager, the manager never showed up at the window and Wesley said, again in a caustic tone "Here'a quarter, you can keep it". Here's the deal, we live on the north side of OKC and we eat A LOT of fast-food. When we checked our bag after driving away---we were missing ONE $1.89 soft taco, which we were overcharged for by 60 cents and would never eat because it wasn't in the bag, as we sure as hell weren't going back to talk with Wesley, or his apparently nonexistent manager. Wesley and the proprietors of this Taco Bell on Kelly could have gotten our business a TON of times. We will never darken the door or run through this place's drive-thru EVER again. So, just an hour ago I go through the drive thru and order a party pack of six crispy and six soft all no lettuce. (Repeated no lettuce) I get to the window and get my receipt and don’t see a notation of no lettuce. The person at the window was a young guy and no head set. Sounded like a woman That took my original order. I tell him about what I notice. He said okay walks to the back and comes back and says “they know”. A few minutes later he hands me my party pack and laugh as I say “no lettuce right?” He shakes his head. I pull out and stop and wouldn’t ya know it is now 12 hard crispy tacos and alllllll have lettuce. The inside is closed so I pull back to the drive through and have to wait due to the dinner rush. Ten minutes later I’m at the window and the same kid looks at me and I tell him. “They all have lettuce and they’re all hard tacos. He says “do you want to keep them”? I explained I want my order. Then a large cook came up and said “you ain’t say no lettuce”. I was a little shocked. Even if I hadn’t, who says that. I reply with “well I did and six of them aren’t even soft tacos. He walks off and quickly returns. I get the party pack and check the first three that are made correctly and just assume the rest are. 25 minutes later I get home and after going through the first three, after dividing up amongst the family. We start noticng Attached picture. Not to mention still lettuce on a few of them. The remainder had about a quarter sized amount of meat. This is absolutely the worst experience I ever had with fast food. I attempted calling the store eight times using their listed number and no one had answered as of this review.

I just came there to get food after working 16 hours. The guy in drive thru with the fake dread locks told me he couldn’t use my code it was too late. Well he could have just restarted the order and put the code in that’s not my issue no big deal but then he tried to up charge me for chicken on a chicken quesadilla… that comes with the chicken already?!? Then he told me he only had Diablo sauce … which something told me he lied so I parked came in and the other workers said they have all the sauces . It made me mad cuz why lie? Why? I wasn’t rude or anything it was very unprofessional and just rude . My order # is 1e497e on 5/3/25 order # 337 at 8:38 pm and I will be calling corporate Monday since they thought it was funny . I never complain either I’m usually very understanding but that made me upset after working 16 hours why mess with me?!? Grow up and learn how to have some customer service and don’t lie about not having something . It’s weird oh and someone help him get some better hair cuz those fake dreads...
