They’re back!!!!!!! We used to eat here a few years ago when they were a hole in the wall down the street, then they went to Guthrie and now they are back on Waterloo! We couldn’t be more excited! I took some first timers with me and it was just as great as before! Everyone loved what they got. I had Asada, pastor and birria tacos. Birria have always been my favorite and I think these are the best in all of central Oklahoma. Salsas are always on point, homemade, as is everything else. As usual the drinks were great as well. I had jamaica it was the perfect amount of sweet and tart. Overall everyone was really happy that they are back closer to the city and I will be back frequently! First of all the food is wonderful! Absolutely delicious 😋 However the service was awful. We went during lunch and our waitress was not attentive at all. Basically forgot we were there, we had to get us and ask for anything we needed. Drink refills, more tortillas, chips, check everything. Disappointed that we were charged extra for tortillas for the fajitas but it is what it is i supposed. They don't have a lunch menu unfortunately 😕 and no chimichanga on the menu at all. Service was great. Restaurant is super clean and beautiful. Pricing was fine. The food is just meh for us. Old looking salsa. Refried beans tasted unseasoned straight from the can. Rice was weird, with kind of a dish watery taste. Carne was barely seasoned and hardly charred. Something was on the tacos resembling cheese but tasted of air. Pork was super greasy and almost crockpot-ish. Fries (they came with the torta) were maybe just microwaved? Not crispy at all. A lot of the meat seemed pre-cooked/packaged.
