On Sat 6/23 at 10:30 am I stopped in to order lunch for my employees like I have done at this same Subway several time before. The store was completely empty, no other customers at all.I explained to the African American worker that I have done business there before and that I needed 13 sandwiches for pick up at 11:30 or 11:45 if needed.Well her attitude completely turned sour and she acted like I had offended her by giving her such a large order. She refused my order and said that I would have had to ordered it the day prior and that it was consider catering. This may be the policy but I have made the same order twice before and the other workers there have accommodated me because the sandwiches required only meat ,lettuce and tomatoes then wrapped in 6" pcs.How long does it take to make a sandwich like this?Im thinking 2 minutes max.Well I do understand there is a policy but what about good customer service ? I mean the store was empty with 2 employees and to come up with an excuse to turn down business.I guess they will get their hourly wage either way sell or don't sell. By the way the second employee was a girl that have helped me before but for some reason sided with the other one.Oh well this Subway have lost a good customer all due to the attitude of 1 employee.I called Popeyes and got our lunch and the store manager there was so happy that she offered me a large drink on the house every time I go there.Thats customer appreciation!!!!!!!!! Read moreUPDATE: I had to update the review due to a couple of past visits have had some rude customer service. When asking if employee could cut up the meatballs for my son because he has a problem with choking the employee said “I’ll give you a fork and knife and you do it” when the employee was asked why can’t she just do it because it would be easier to do it prior to sandwich being made she said “it’s YOUR son, you came in here with this big order and I have other stuff to do”. It’s been other times with rude customer service and I’m just going to say maybe hire some more employees because maybe this one was overworked and having a bad day but customers should not have to experience that.
First review: Ordered six sandwiches for my family last night for pickup on my drive home and everything was ready when we picked it up shortly after ordering and made...
Read moreI had an exceptional experience at the Subway on 915 Broadway in El Cajon, and it’s all thanks to Carlos, a young man who completely transformed my visit. From the moment I walked in, his attentiveness and kindness stood out. He crafted what is, without a doubt, the best Subway sandwich I’ve ever had in California. The care and precision he put into making it were unmatched, and it’s clear that he genuinely enjoys what he does.
The restaurant itself was spotless, which made my experience even better. It’s rare these days to find someone who takes such pride in their work, and Carlos exemplifies this in every way. I’ll be coming back tomorrow for another sub, and I truly hope Subway recognizes his hard work with a promotion. If you’re in El Cajon, do yourself a favor and visit this location—ask for Carlos, and you won’t be...
