Since the owner's of this place changed, the service, and food has really gone down. Yesterday, I was in the drive thru for more than 20 minutes, and was never served. I watched as people went in and out, but the line at the drive through never moved. If someone has a long order, then move them aside , and serve the next person. The last time I had Southern Classic, the quality of the food was not the same. I wish they had left a good thing alone, because when this place was Chic A Dilly it was really good , and now I don't even consider it a " must visit" stop when I go home to El Dorado. It has a tiny kick to it but mild enough that even children would love it. The staff there was very courteous and made me feel right at home. They answered all the questions we had about the food and had a smile on their faces while doing. I definitely felt the southern hospitality which is what the south is known for. I would recommend this place to friends who want some authentic southern fried chicken. It was excellent. They even had fried okra which I was able to substitute instead of French fries. I did receive one less roll than I paid for but I certainly wasn’t going to wait any longer or go back for a single roll. No complaints on the people, the staff were friendly enough. It’s just too expensive and takes too long to get your food (especially if you need to use the drive through line like I did that day).
