Main Street Pizza — Restaurant in El Dorado

They offer the best pizza for the area. I really wanted pizza and knew their pizza wasn't a chain restaurant and was good, so we drove to El Dorado just to eat here. We didn't eat. I enjoy their pizza, but the service is typically not good. They were not busy and only had one other couple seated and already served. We sat for a while. I eventually got up and got our own menus off the counter. After seeing men behind the counter who ignored us and a waitress checking on the other couple, ignore us, I had a bad feeling about the service. When I got our menus, one of the men behind the counter told a waitress (I saw at least 2) one of you got someone out here. Just then, a woman and her son walked in and sat at a table. Well, when the waitress came out, she went straight to the people who just walked in. We sat there for 20 mins with no one coming to our table. We left hungry and frustrated. Like I said, pizza is great for what is available in the area, but the service is not good. We did go once when it was crowded, and I believe the owners (an older couple)were there serving and the service was good. Service is good when...

After dining here on several occasions, I can confidently say that this restaurant sucks...

Less than mediocre food. The pizza is not excellent quality, contrary to what some may say. It is decent, but nothing to rave about and certainly nothing to go out of one's way to experience. The wings are an absolute nightmare though. Do not order them at all...

Cheap cheap cheap... Everything is served in styrofoam cups, on styrofoam plates, plastic containers; the whole nine. I understand that times are tough, but dude that is pathetic.

Long waits. Even high quality pizza can be made in a relatively short amount of time with adequate prepping. They seem to make sub par pizza and manage to take their precious time doing it. Laughable.

In summary, nothing about this restaurant is immediately appealing. When you have "pizza" in your name, it is expected that you at least prepare that item well, but their food leaves much to be desired,...

Not sure what happened tonight, the last few visits have been a good experience. Granted there was an act performing this particular evening, but we can deal with waiting for food on a busy night. Our appetizer order never got put in, our pizza order was not made correctly...what made it worse is that the manager never came out to apologize. Also, when we paid our bill, the person never asked about our meal, said thank you, please come back or anything. Bad service , more than any other reason, is why most folks never return to a restaurant...not sure why this is a hard concept for a lot of restaurant owners/managers. Front of house attention to customers goes a long ways! It's not about the perfect experience. I hope the owner reads this and makes adjustments, we weren't the only couple who shared...
