Restaurant goers in El Dorado have no need to go out of town for fine dining, great service, and some of the best cuisine I have ever experienced. Recently, I entertained 14 guest for a very Special Occasion, my wedding party. They ordered 7 8oz Filet Mignon, 1 14oz Ribeye, 4 Crawfish Julia Grouper, and 2 Salmon. Thirteen (baked potato's ) It is GREAT to be able to get a baked potato or mashed potatoes with your meal. Not the case with some local restaurants. All of the food was cooked to perfection and served without incident. A special thanks to Susan, Manager, for doing an outstanding job and her attention to detail could not have been better. All of our guest commented on how smooth things went and what a wonderful evening it was for all. Dean Morrison, owner, spends his time in the kitchen cooking and supervising. He leaves the task to Angela Morrison to greet and ensure all patrons are kept happy. The two are a winning combination, hands on to detail, and with Susan, you can not find a better place to dine. I recommend you try any item on the extensive menu of entrees and sides. You will be...
Read moreWe went for Valentine's Day. We had reservations for 7:30 pm. They said we could go to the bar while they cleaned a table. Sat at the bar until 8:30 pm until my husband went and asked. They finally gave us a table that was so wobbly I had to put my napkins under the legs so it wouldn't fall over. We had to go to the bar 4 times where we became very well acquainted with Ben the bartender. He was amazing!!! The lady came to our table at 9:06 pm and said they were starting on our food which we still haven't even gotten an appetizer or a drink. I wrote a note on a piece of paper that our reservations were at 7:30 and this was ridiculous. We paid for our...
Read moreMy wife and I have eaten here in the past and were satisfied with our meals. Tonight, 6/9/23 we decided to dine in again. She had the 8oz filet and baked potato, said it was all good. I had the grilled salmon, grilled veggies and a salad. The veggies were good, although the grilled brussel sprouts were very hard. The salad needed more than a tablespoon or two of dressing. The grilled salmon was inedible, very much overcooked, chalky dry and the one bite I took was tasteless . Even the bread, which is usually delicious was cold and tasteless. Very disappointed. The best thing about the meal to me was the service and the...
