Murphy Arts District — Attraction in El Dorado

Just ate breakfast for first time in the Griffin. I had just come from the music hall for Sunrise service and thought I would try the Griffin out. The hostess ask me if I had a reservation and I told her no but I would share a table with someone. She then asked me if I would mind sitting at the bar. I am thinking ok they don't have any tables opened so I said ok. I sat at the end of the bar. The food was buffet. I have had better food at a local diner then what was there plus I get to looking and there are so many tables opened and I am the only one sitting at the bar. That made me feel like I didn't belong and was set there to be second class. I was embarrassed to be there. The people that was behind me didn't have a reservation either but got seated at a table. I told the hostess when I left I didn't appreciate sitting at the bar when there so many open tables. She told she asked if I wanted a table or sit at the bar. No mamm you did not ask me!! I told her you ask me if I would mind sitting at the bar. Big difference. I would not have perferred the bar over a table. Never! I told her that made me feel unimportant and I was upset over it. Me and my girlfriend finally made time between our busy schedules to go out on a date, we decided to come to the “mad on ice” rink we saw on a commercial. The rink is tiny it is only suitable for children and the comercial did not comunícate this. We drove from Louisiana to checkout this new ice rink when we could have gone to an actual respectably sized venue in Shreveport for a slightly cheaper price even! This place is fine for kids if you live in the El dorado area but not any further and not for adults.
