Old Fashion — Restaurant in El Dorado

I don't know where to even start...this was the epitome of THE BEST small town dining - EVER! We were waited on by a lady who has worked there since she was 7 years old and all the southern charm with our meal! I will put this on our top 5 list of come-back's. We are from Southwestern Ohio & never have we had such delicious food for such a fantastic price ($5 lunch plates). We drive OTR all over the U.S. & home cooked meals are a dying breed, unless we are at home & I can whip up some good grub; this was such a treat to finally have a meatloaf better than my own. We had the pork chop lunch & the meatloaf lunch - even homemade cake! EVERYTHING was wonderful - the pork chop was fried, but not heavily breaded & it had good flavor; the meatloaf (we were told sells out by 1130) had such a yummy flavor, juicy & not at all greasy with a little kick. There were three sides (the green beans like my grandma used to make, corn & mashed potatoes w/gravy), cornbread & a little cup of ice cream. Oh my gosh I knew that this restaurant on the corner of MLK was delicious I stopped for ice cream and it was the best chocolate swirl ice cream I ever had for 1.50 . It was so delicious my sister wanted one then I told my other sister about it and we went there and she had a cheeseburger I had onion rings everything was so delicious and cheap nothing like good delicious cheap food I cannot wait to go back to this restaurant so I could try a cheeseburger with onion rings I love this place I've been there three times and I'm from Little Rock.
