Believe the bad reviews really, we spent $ 40 dollars so you don't have to! Excited to know of a late night food establishment we went in expecting something good based on the reviews, yes the staff is apparently very friendly and welcoming BECAUSE THEY WANT YOUR MONEY, it's not shockingly expensive but it is terrible food. That's how they get you with a smile....their guacamole is basically a green creamy something other than avocado, their agua fresca has barely any sugar to sweeten (sugar is expensive ) limeade lacks lime juice basically water, the food is insipidly bland, no salt no seasoning no flavor. I mean no flavor. The owner didn't take well to my criticism which I tried to be cordial about. We quibbled about some discrepancy in my tab. I was charged extra. For sour cream and I mentioned that he said I should've assumed since he does not assume he'll receive something free anywhere he goes! OK....then he said as far as my critique is I'm one in a hundred of customers who he's never heard complain. Well it only takes one really til it all comes crashing down. Very haughty. Unfortunate but it is what it is like someone else said in the comments above it's a sham and misrepresentation all they want is your money. Take my advice eat some cereal, a ramen, a grilled cheese sandwich late night. If you are traveling stop at a convenience store seriously, This place ain't worth your hard earned money and they aren't...
Read moreAfter a brief visit to the doctor my wife and I decided to grab a quick bite. The first restaurant we saw was Del Paso. We decided to give it a try. The exterior of the building looks aged and can use a little paint job to make it more appealing to customers. We were immediately day down by our waiter and placed our drink orders. We looked at the menu which was simple and had various options. My wife and I settled on Talapas, a buttered french bread with beans and melted cheese on top as an appetizer. It was a great choice. The bread was warm and toasted to perfection while the beans were reminiscent of the ones my mother would make. We placed our orders. My wife opted for breakfast while I decided to start my day with lunch. After a while of waiting my wife received her huevos ranchero's and I beef tacos. My tacos were a little underwhelming as they had little beef and tasted mostly like lettuce in a corn tortilla. The beans and rice were delicious and warm. The chili complimented the food and was tasty. My wife described her eggs as runny but satisfying nonetheless. Overall the food some hits but more misses. The prices are very affordable and the staff is very attentive and polite. If your looking for decent food at a low price I recommend you...
Read moreI found Del Paso while waiting for a car appointment to finish. I was hungry and didn't want to walk far to eat, and this place was one of the few that were open early and close by.
Everything on the menu looks and sounds good, and I finally rested on getting Enchiladas Montadas---three enchiladas smothered in cheese, sauce, and beans, topped with a two eggs with hash browns on the side. The flavor was amazing, the eggs mixed with the enchiladas and sauce (out of the choices of sauce, I got the cilantro) was delicious. After I cleaned the plate and washed it down with a glass of horchata and a glass of water, and the server offered me some desserts. I chose flan and a half order (2 instead of 4) of sopapillas (made in-house). The desserts were good too. I eat a lot!
The restrooms are clean and have a nice tile color scheme. The staff are few but friendly and very attentive. I highly recommend Del Paso if you like...
