Me and my three friends looked at the rating of 4.5 before we left our home. We called them before we left the house since it was more than a 30 mins drive. No answered but still we wanted to give a try. We were really excited when we left home to try fufu. But unfortunately, we forgot see the number of people who rated. I usually don’t leave comments but I hope it will help other people who wants to go and try. Firstly we went in there, it was burning hot(no ac). Then when we are asked for drinks, we asked for water but the lady was forcing us to try their drinks like lemonade and many more. We said we just wanted water. Later when she came, she came with four bottled water(ofc she wanted to rip us). They didnt have any vegetarian option(waitress said veg fufu was not available). Two of my friends were vegetarian. So, we thought that me and my other non-veg will try the fufu(that’s what we came for) and then leave for the other restaurant. The waitress said she will remove the meat from the fried rice and make vegetable one. We said we didn’t want it. She forced that it’s good and needs to try. We gave in. We ordered three dishes in total:fried beef rice, vegetable fried rice and non-veg fufu. She kept on saying that we are missing an order for one person. We said that we just wanted to try this three and if needed, we will order more. She said fine and went in the kitchen. She came and insisted my other friend who didn’t order to have the veg fried rice and ultimately he agreed. We all felt like an scam. The food was okay(not the best for my taste bud). When we were about to leave, they insisted on buying the African that was infront of the counter. We refused. We found why their rating was 4.5. They say that if we rate them 5, they will give us 5% off. We didn’t budge in with that. Horrible service. Big scam!!!!!!!! I don’t recommend...
Read moreYou can really tell that the people that work there are very family oriented and very healthy happy people. They let those who have not tried african food a try. Their heat in food is not anything like white people spice nor Mexican spice. They put love into their food. Im not sure what dish we got but it had like a Mexican rice its what it looked like, fried plantains, and a beef sauce and thats what the heat came from. We also got fufu it reminds me of a sticky mashed potato mix. Which was really cool on trying out. We got take out but they were all to nice I was pretty excited about trying their food. We got 1 dish it seemed like but it fed my husband and I and we still got left overs. For sure a...
Read moreI had an outstanding experience at this restaurant! Christelle was incredibly welcoming, and the kind lady who served us made us feel right at home. I ordered two servings of suya, along with fish and jollof rice. The food arrived quickly and was bursting with flavor. The mango juice was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just the right amount of refreshment. The plantains were absolutely delicious. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, with great music and a clean, well-maintained space. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal and a pleasant dining...
