They are undergoing the soft opening, I saw customers will not be served without a booking. Make sure you make a reservation online ahead of time, I would say 2 weeks ahead for now for weekend dinner. The interior is neat, all the staff are friendly and polite, they picked up dishes and cleaned probably. Quiet and great for dating. Servers dont actually understand the menu well enough, they only read what is on the menu when they were trying to introduce their menu? It was a so far so good experience. Menu variety is definitely different to Asia; portion is relatively disappointing, u paid more than what u got for sure. For example, i ordered a spicy shrimp, it is clearly just any normal shrimps u can get anywhere, with maybe some gochujang seasoning, costing 8.95$ for 4 shrimps. The vegetable price is more ridiculous compared to the portion. Besides, food came at a weird order when all grill food should come at once and it wasnt the case. However, im still happy to see Asian franchises opening new store in el paso.

It is about time we have a Yakiniku place in El Paso, and I’m happy it’s GyuKaku! The location is really nice and can suit one well for a birthday, dinner date, entertain the visiting executive from out of town, or just because you crave Yakiniku, which I often do. The menu is amazing! I ordered so much I forget what I even had specifically, I just know we started with Kalbi and ended with garlic chicken and had everything from crispy rice to spicy pork in between. The service was great! And we met the owners, Dennis and Ran, and expressed our gratitude for bringing such an establishment to the borderland! Can’t wait to go back

Husband and I have been waiting for this place to open in our area. We were not disappointed. Services and selection of meats were good. They also serve alcohol. I had the Tokyo Iced Tea! It was delicious but my husband said it was bitter. He drank Grey Goose with club soda. We ordered the Chef’s special and added Beef Tongue and Duck. This was definitely a lot of food for two people but worth it. Salas had a great dressing on it. We cooked all the meat and took the leftovers home. This is definitely a date night spot! We will be back!

I’ve been to other locations of this restaurant in different cities many times and never had an issue. I was genuinely excited about this new location opening in town, and overall, the food was as expected.

Before ordering, we asked our server about the course menu. I’ve always enjoyed the “Party” option, which is usually designed for four people. We specifically asked if it could be portioned for two, and the server confidently said it wouldn’t be a problem.

When the food arrived, we realized we were being served full portions for four. We asked for clarification, and the server responded that he thought we wanted the four-person menu as-is. Shortly after, the manager came to our table asking if there was a problem. We explained the miscommunication and clarified that we had requested the party menu to be adapted for two. Rather than offering a solution, she said it was our fault because that option isn’t available for two people, and that we should have chosen a different menu.

She offered to charge us per individual dish instead, which would have been even more expensive. On top of that, we weren’t even finished with our meal—and some dishes hadn’t arrived yet—when they brought us the check. As expected, we were charged for four.

In the end, they gave us a 15% discount, but the experience was disappointing. The issue wasn’t just a misunderstanding, it was the way it was handled. We asked clearly ahead of time, yet we were made to feel like we were at fault. We could have easily ordered something else suitable for two and avoided all of this.

The food was good, but the dismissive attitude and lack of accountability from the staff left a very...

I didn’t even get to experience anything but, what i do know is that there was a very soft spoken hostess and she was the one that really upset me. We walked in asking for a table for 2 ppl(keep in mind i was speaking to the other host that was very polite as she was the one that gave me eye contact and was super sweet !) at the time we didnt know it was still a soft opening. We read the letter that management left outside about services being better if we did reserve a table . As im talking to this host, the other female host cuts her co worker off and proceeds to tells me that there isn't any available seating until tomorrow may 27th since they were short on waiters as well as having to close a section for the soft opening sure makes sense which is ok and fine with me totally understandable! We walked out the restaurant and googled to find out there was 2 open reservations for 7:45pm and 8:00pm.. i had called the store and it was confirmed that there was a reservation available (apparently with in a minute of leaving the restaurant and going into the car somehow someone cancelled a reservation) . Hmm . i just know that, that interaction definitely gave me a bitter experience. I more thank likely will not be going to experience...

My coworker recommended this place, she said it is expensive but it is so worth it. First time we were here didn't have reservations so, this time we made sure we had reservations. While the place smells realy good on the outside, the and as soon as you open the door there is sewage smell really strong that it is impossible to not get gross out. The good notice it is that the smell it is only on the waiting area. We get to the table hostess really friendly, then server show ups, Nat. We order food and food started coming, the sushi is ready to eatwe overhead the server telling to his table. Servers are like a big familiy team we have different servers bring our food, but Nat would disappear for minutes we had to ask plenty of times to get ours drink refilled ( not 1 or 3 times), they spaced the food to last around one hour and a half. I saw a guy playing with his hair when he was taking 1 dish with his other hand, and right away he wwnt to the kitchen, and again he was playing with his hair. The food ia good bit for what are you paying service could be a lot better, and then when you get the check, tips are recommended they started at 18%. If you have good service you dont need to recommend the tip because people will...
