This was my first and last visit at this restaurant. The place looks kind of new with an incredible combination of bad taste decor and loud rap music . But who cares about all this if the most important thing is good ! Right? …I am talking about the food …And that’s it why o am taking the time to write this review . We started with some overpriced cold and greasy Brisket pho…Me and my partner were about to raise our hand to complain about it , but we were ignored to the point that we just moved our almost full bowls and waited until the waitress decided to come and check on us , our main entrees were coming and we had a cluster of un taken plates in our table . Chewy tough vermicelli that you can tell that was sitting somewhere for hours ,overcharged beef , and soggy fried rice was bad enough for us to ask hour check and get out of there . Waitress didn’t care to ask why our plates were that full , owner or management were just sitting on a booth more worried about closing the place that ignored us completely .. Not authentic Vietnamese food place . Big disappointment. Never the less , thank you for making us erase your restaurant of the list of new restaurants around the...
Read morePho Tre Bien Noodle Bar brings elegance and a very welcoming environment where Vietnamese cuisine can truly be enjoyed. I had the opportunity to visit before they were opened and John, the owner extended an invitation for my family and I to enjoy some Pho. I never met John before or his staff, but they welcomed us when we approached the door to see if the restaurant was opened.
The pho that was served had brisket, chicken and the expected garnishes. My family/party of seven truly enjoyed the flavors and the inviting atmosphere that this place provides and I can't wait to visit again when they officially open to the public.
I want to emphasize that while the restaurant was not open for customers, we got accommodated at multiple tables that were placed together to meet my party size/ needs and got treated with great attention and positive attitudes to make sure we were were enjoying the meal and experience.
Not only did we enjoy the food, but we enjoyed getting to know John's story, his family's story and how these restaurants came to be in El Paso as his mom opened the original one a few...
Read moreWent in today for late lunch. I wanted to take my mom for the first time. It took forever for a server to come help us out. Finally, our server came by and first thing he told us was, "I don't know who your server is so I'll take care of you." He then just stared at us and didn't say anything else. Didn't offer what we'd like to drink or anything. At this point I was getting annoyed by the poor customer service. So we placed our order. The server left and then came back and said he forgot our order. He then proceeded to tell us he forgot the order because I came across hostile. I told him he should not be blaming me for forgetting his order and that he should write it down this time. He took our order a second time but not before he made it a point to tell us once again that I was being "stand off-ish." Once he left, my mom was not feeling good anymore. This had been her first outing since she went to the hospital and it clearly was not a good experience for her. We decided to leave.
Terrible customer service and it's obvious they have...
