Once again, the staff here always exceed expectations and have raised the bar for customer service. I always look forward to coming to El Paso because I stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites : El Paso East-Loop 375
3500 Joe Battle Blvd, El Paso, Texas 79938. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. Today was no exception; specifically I'd like to highlight Yasmin today. I came early today. However, she was able to work with housekeeping to make getting my room a priority and was in my room in less than 20 minutes and was prior to normal check-in hours. She even gave me a water bottle for my wait and an apology for wait; even though I was the one that came early! Also, she made it a point to accommodate my ground floor and near the side doors request. Honorable mentions as well are to Javier, Jasmine R and Amanda N. They all are very courteous to the extreme and quick to greet you with a smile and quick to respond to any need or request you may have to their fullest capability to ensure your stay is the best it can be. Also, I'd like to add that the maintenance staff take pride in what they do here to ensure clients are taken care of here properly as well as room servicing. It is evident that they all care about what they do here every time I come to stay and I see it in how they treat every other guest as well. They are what have made me a loyal customer to...
Read moreEXCELLENT!!! The breakfast has a descent variety. Those little omelets were my favorite. The staff was top notch. They kept the place clean and they all maintained a professional experience. Oh, and they ALL say “hi” . That’s just what I expect when Im in Texas. If you’re from there, you know what I’m talking about. My room was cleaned and restocked daily. I stayed for just about a week and they didn’t miss a step. The area looks very new. A good variety of fast food joints and restaurants. Wal mart and Lowe’s are near. If you’re looking to try a good ol’ Tx Whataburger, there is one nearby. I don’t recommend the pico de gallo burger. The improvements I suggest are: please do something about the smell in the elevators. Such a nice good quality feeling establishment but that smell brings that quality feel down in my book. There’s some construction down there but where isn’t there. Oh the Grand Canyon sized pothole over between KFC and McDonalds. I watched that thing grow over my stay All I can say is WOW! Great experience. I highly recommend. Oh and one more thing, PLEASE!!!! Go and support the Border Patrol museum, L&Js diner. The steak with queso is amazing. Also try out the world famous Chico tacos. They were alright. Get the sauce on the side and have cash. That’s all I got. Thanks to the guys at IHG El Paso on Joe Battle Blvd you...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would, giving one star is too generous. Worst hotel staff and specifically the manager Zulema Acuña. Worst IHG hotel and staff we have stayed at. First they gave away 2 queen suite we reserved and gave us a 1 king bed. In order to switch our room back the next day we had to pack up again, and leave our event to check in to the new room which still wasn’t correct. The woman who checked us in originally had no idea how to resolve the issue. After our stay we reached out to the manager, Zulema Acuña. Eventually she offered a refund, we accepted. It’s been almost two months with no refund. I’ve called and every time she coincidentally is in a meeting, on the other line and never returns our calls or responds to follow up emails. The least professional and worst experience! This alone makes us want to switch from IHG properties elsewhere. Granted we stay at least two times a month at various IHG properties, and 4-6 during the summer months. The front desk staff Jennifer or Laura has told us their manager doesn’t know how to offer refunds, and they don’t know contact information for another manager (operations, sales, etc.). According to IHG customer relations dept that is untrue and basic...
