Recently had our wedding hosted at this venue, let’s start with the cons Cons: Manager/owner of the venue “Irma” is a very rude non approachable person, you have to walk on egg shells to reach out to her about any questions about anything and when she does respond it is very short and dry response and doesn’t make you feel welcome at all. She’s kind in the beginning but once you sign that contract the whole demeanor changes. Other cons nothing is included…….absolutely nothing. You are nickel and dimed, each table each chair, refreshments. So keep that in mind, also they no longer allow outside catering so you are forced to order from their catering partner with the minimum of 100 plates and the lowest cost plate Is about $25 (yikes) the food was good and the owner/manager of that catering company was very accommodating and friendly, I did not get their name) oh also on top of paying to rent the venue YOU are responsible to clean/clear up the venue tables before you leave) they do “take” responsibility for making sure the bathrooms “stay clean and the trash bins to be taken out when they got full” which the men’s trash was over filling and I had to text her early during the night to say that the men’s rr was out of paper towels because I could find no one to notify about that at the venue. Pros: the venue is a very beautiful, we loved the rustic...
Read moreas beautiful as the venue is and as much as I loved my wedding I do not recommend this location for your event. it comes with absolutely nothing yet charging the same price as any other venue that does provide most if not all amenities. The owner makes it seem as if it’s her goal to make your event as difficult as possible by imposing the randomest rules she can think of. She is also very difficult to get a hold of and takes forever to respond to your messages. and unless you get the vendors that she recommends she will make sure to make it difficult for them as well. My mom and I even started calling them the mafia because they all just recommended each other despite being able to find better for cheaper. It’s a beautiful location I cannot take that away from them but it’s not worth what it costs.
Edit: Oh was originally 2 stars but now 1. The owner is so incredibly unprofessional. After she read my review she went ahead to email me personally to let me know about everything that went wrong with my wedding. and then went to find my family’s locally owned business to let us know how many bad reviews we had and how karma was going to get us. Stay as far away as possible. Do not do...
Read moreWine time event was ok for their first year.
The wine list was big to choose from but only one table for dessert wine. Hopefully you learned there are alot of us who like sweet/dessert wines.
Negatives: They ran out of sangria and the line for the Moscato was herendous.
Worst part is you could not buy by the glass like other venues.
They had a a dj but they could have sprung for live entertainment like some dancers or the dudes who wear lighted suits on stilts. To give it that extra pizzazz.
Some of the people who were serving had no idea about the wine.
Positive: Staff was super friendly.
Valet parking
Plenty to drink :)
Final thought: In this event it was more about you trying different wines you haven't had rather than them trying to sell you on its lineage or vineyards harvesting process.
Was it worth it? Yes I am looking forward...
