Yiyo's Elotes — Restaurant in El Paso

This place used to be good, not sure what’s happened but it’s definitely gone downhill, more expensive and cut in quality. This is the second time we’ve brought home bad food. First time we bought corn on the cob and one was uncooked! My daughter bit into it and almost lost her teeth! We took it back and they were nice enough to replace it but it was quite the inconvenience of having to drive back since we don’t live nearby. Today was another bad experience and this will be our last visit 🤢🤮! We purchased a few different snacks including nachos, strawberries and cream, corn in the cup. We spent $14 for stale chips, frozen strawberries served in something that looked like a milk carton 🤮🤮 and corn that’s bitter (rotten)🤢🤢🤢. We ended up tossing everything because didn’t feel like driving back so much for the $14!! The lady here is so rude she was closing mins prior and even turned customers away as I was in line I mentioned that on the internet it says they close at 10pm… she mentioned “yes that’s 3 more mins”… umm no my phone my car say 9:51pm she says “no we go based off the time on the machine in here and it says we close in 3 mins. In all my life I’ve never ever heard of closing prior to the closing time. And for her to turn customers away prior to set time. I showed her the time on my phone and she closed the window on us. I mean I get that you’re wanting to close and go home. It’s called time management and it’s called pre closing. Not a good look not sure if it’s worth going back...

No matter how long the line gets , I'm there ! Everything I've tried from their menu is just delightful! Full , they don't ever hold back on ingredients, everything has always been fresh. The only unpleasant situations I've had was getting dispatched by a somewhat unhappy employee, but it was just a once or twice situation because other then those two times the rest of them have been very nice and friendly, and that I Love !
