Dunkin' — Restaurant in Elburn

I go to this Dunkin Donuts about 3 or 4 times a week I will never go there again. They have advertised and posted on the menu 12 bagels and cream cheese for $12.99. Last week I paid for my order and when I got to work I looked at my receipt and it was more money then what they had posted on there menu I didn't call them or question it I thought maybe I was wrong. So today I went there and placed my order told them I wanted the 12.99 dozen bagels and cream cheese that they have on there menu board they took my money and then told me they don't honor the price they have shown on there menu board inside and outside on there drive up . He proceeds to tell me that's the corporate pricing even though it comes up in there POS system and its advertised on there menu for you to order from they charge you what ever they feel like. I have been going there since it opened and now I question myself how many times did they ripped me off that I didn't question what I paid. They should charge you what they have posted on there menu and not what they feel like. Jewel is in the same parking lot and offers a dozen fresh made donuts in there own bakery for $5 and they now have a Starbucks. It may not be a convenient and the drive thru but at least I know if Jewel advertises a price that's what they charge...

This is the worst dunkin I've ever gone to! I've gone to this one probably 5 times or more because it's close to where I work and I always regret it! I recently tried the pick up using the app and it doesn't matter you will still have to wait. I almost took a picture of how bad my food looked but it literally looked like I staged it! I've never been given a clean bag or napkin from this place. They're always grease stained, wrinkled and looked used. They've never smiled or said thank you. This time I couldn't understand the woman speaking so I asked her to "please repeat" herself and she rudely yelled to "pull up!". I don't like putting people or businesses down but I've never had a good experience with this dunkin! Go to the McDonald's across the street I guarantee it will be better! My last visit was the final straw (No pun intended).

Nevermind the usually long lines in one of the slowest drive thrus I’ve ever seen.

Nevermind that the food I’ve been served was cold and the coffee cold.

Nevermind that most times I go there (about 2/3rds), they get my order wrong or don’t complete it.

The final straw was when one of the employees decided that even though they made me a drink so far from what I ordered (iced coffee is not hot chocolate, I know it’s hard). This wonderful, psychic employee decided to tell me that is in-fact what I actually ordered and wanted. I continued to try and imply that it wasn’t but she was convinced and even sat there and had to explain to me why I was wrong…the one who ordered it.

I don’t like the idea of people who can’t figure out how to make hot coffee telling me my own personal desires.

That was the final straw.
