Sunday July 14th I went to purchase a large iced coffee about 12pm. I placed a $10 bill on the counter. the female Hispanic employee "threw" my change on the counter where it bounced all over. Obviously this woman has a problem with Senior citizens visiting the establishment. Either that or she is racist against white people. (See my review for Saturday and her actions then). Due to her behavior on Saturday I did not even bother to ask her for the Senior citizen discount which I always request. (Everything I find online states DD gives this discount to those 55+, I am 57). I left without collecting my change, only the bills. I did not collect my iced coffee either, even though I had already paid for it. This employee doesn't seem to understand it is not about $ but about customer service. I have been a customer there for 4.5 years 2-4 days per week purchasing a wide variety of items, sandwiches, bagels, donuts, hash browns, large iced coffees, regular coffee, iced teas, herbal teas, and sundaes. I normally leave a tip in the tip jar for most employees. I have never had any issues with any of the employees there for 4.5 years until now. I took myself over to a different eating establishment that treats it's customers with more respect. It's obvious this Dunkin Donuts does not want my business...
Saturday July 13th 12pm I went to this DD and purchased an iced coffee. I had requested the "Senior Discount" like I always do. I have been purchasing from this DD for over 4.5 years now. The Hispanic woman behind the counter, "laughed" at me after requesting the senior discount. She claimed I did not look 65. I informed her DD's policy as far as I can find online says that people over 55 are qualified to receive the Senior Discount. (I used to sometimes request the free donut when presenting my AARP card which used to be DD's policy nationwide for those 50+ until DD stopped it a few years back). Read moreI just left this location and for me to actually leave a review is for 1of 2 reasons either the service was excellent or horrible.... And by the 1 star.. Yep! You guessed it.. It was horrible!!!! I went through the drive thru and the guy "Danny" who waited on me was BEYOND RUDE!! I drink alot of iced lattes from DD and i ALWAYS order the same thing, large carmel iced latte with sugar and whip cream. Fromthe start when Danny took my order to the finish was so rude i actually was taken back. Every time i spoke he cut me off, i asked for lots of ice and he replied "its an ice latte it always ice" and then he asked if i wanted liquid sugar and i said ok thats fine and he says well you asked for sugar what kind do you want.. I have NEVER been asked that before EVER so at this time i told him that he was being very rude and he preceded to argue with me and when i asked for the manager he said there wasnt and would not give me the name. I get it working in the hospitality industry can be tough: but there way acted is completely unacceptable.. This location lost my business and along with my family...
