McDonald's — Restaurant in Elgin

Worst McDonald's experience ever. I went through the drive through, ordered the food for me and my friend and waited the 10 Minutes in line due to the slow service to get my order and have my burger to be completely wrong. I ordered only ketchup and got everything but ketchup, the box even had the only ketchup and cheese sticker on it. On top of that my friends cheeseburger also had her onions all over the top of the bun and was horribly put together without care. We went back around and I informed them of my burger issue and was then told to pull forward to the second window, when I arrived at the second window I was asked "what is your order?" Which is understandable seeing I have worked fast food before and the car in front of me jumped out of line. When I explained to her what was wrong with my order she gave me a puzzled look as if she didn't understand what I said to her. I handed back the burger with the sticker still on the box, she took the burger and then came back and again asked me what was wrong with the burger. I proceeded to tell her that it was supposed to be only ketchup she them came back and was going to tell me to pull forward after waiting 15 minutes and then a coworker behind her stated they had the burger ready. When I got it it was correct, but both the meat and the bun had been sitting for awhile and had probably been timed out. Thankfully I had asked for cookies for my wait and had received them without question. Where to start with this restaurant, the food is NEVER FRESH, it's always old and reheated, no matter what time you go in. The orders are NEVER CORRECT, we are always missing something, given the wrong food or worse yet given the wrong product like spicy chicken instead of normal chicken! The service is the slowest I have experienced in ANY fast food establishment. Most of the time I have to call out for someone to answer the drive through and take my order, many times I have had to just drive up to the window cause no one is answering at the drive through. Then you sit sometimes for up to 35 min. Waiting to get through the line to receive your food and there's only YOU AND ONE OTHER CAR in the drive through. There seems to be no real management here and no one guiding the team, it just seems to be a place where everyone does what they want when they want and your swear the teenagers are the ones running the show. For as long as it takes to get through the drive through, get the wrong cold stale order, you could have driven across town to the other McDonalds and had better service, fresh food and the correct products in HALF the TIME! If I could I would get no star what so over, to be honest this is one of the worst McDonald's in Elgin. They give you burn buns, the forget to give you a straw, they give you bad attitude, if you ask for no cherry in your shake the give you cherry and once you tell them that you didn't want any cherry just the whip cream the take it of but the take of the cherry will still be there and if you tell them that you don't want the cherry because your son is allergic to the cherry they just throw away the part of the whip cream and it seems that is fine no whip cream once your son start drinking it and gets his face red and swollen they you come out to fine that they didn't do there job right, the good thing is that I had his pills with but that is simply not right. Never coming to this bear family McDonald's I rather pay a bit more gas to get my order right they for them trying to kill my son by not making a new shake so the cherry taste won't be on there. They always forget to thank you for coming and forget to say the phrase that Mr.Bear say you need to say when...
