FIRST & LAST vist to Pho viet. My husband and I placed an order for carry out on Monday 8/25. I have to say this was the absolute WORSE meal. First the orders were WRONG we ordered the crispy shrimp rolls however we received the Vietnamese crispy rolls. My husband ordered stir fry beef with vegtables & rice noodles, I ordered chicken stir fry with vegetables & rice noodles. The noodles weren't rice noodles! I supposed they assumed that we were totally stupid not knowing the difference. We are military and have been around the world. Our knowledge for food or our taste buds don't slack. The positive reviews @ this place is what caught our attention to try them out. WRONG! Obviously these reviews are from the locals, I can't began to imagine how anyone with taste buds for authenticity can say the food is 100! That's definitely NOT the case, we apparently went on a BAD DAY and was served crap that should have been thrown to the garbage! The food wasn't appealing to the eyes or tounge. A very huge disappointment. I wanted to find something good from the our order, but unfortunately it wasn't possible. Also as a small business owner honest customer service is imperative. Pho viet lacked, deceiving customers by replacing items that aren't ordered is cruel! A waste of $55 dollars ! There was nothing good about our food unless dry, tasteless, bland food appeals to your pallet go for...

BEWARE !!! I ordered from this restaurant online for pickup and the website they use doesn’t give you an option to pay at the restaurant so I paid for my food prior to getting it. I ordered two #12’s and two boba drinks . When my husband got a text stating our food was ready he went to pick up our order just for them to tell him they didn’t have anymore #12s or boba . ( you leave. Phone number when ordering so not calling and telling a customer but instead texting them and letting them know their food is ready is the first unprofessional mistake) Okay cool food runs out it happens . So he ordered us two different meals and paid for it. I got the raw steak pho and it was just okay. I love pho and have had it plenty and this one was the most mediocre . Maybe it’s because It was closer to closing time. 🤷🏽‍♀️ That’s not the problem , the problem is when I called this afternoon (10 times before an answer) I explained to them the situation , gave them all the info needed and just asked for a refund . The man over the phone said give me a couple minutes I’m going to let someone know and less than 5 seconds later hung up in my face and now I can’t get ahold of them . It’s unprofessional and I feel scammed . Will definitely not be coming back and I don’t recommend you do either especially if...

I have to say I’m pretty disheartened by our experience tonight. We’ve dined at the 5 Points location many times but tonight was our first time trying the Two Notch location. We arrived around 5pm. When walking in we noticed some tables that hadn’t not been busted and cleaned off. We looked through the restaurant and noticed that all tables that were available were not cleaned from other patrons dinning, like bowls of Pho and plates all over them (10 tables in total were not busted or clean). We walked up to the counter where one person was on the phone taking and order and another one making a smoothie or drink. The person who finished up the drink went to walk past us and I stated that there were no clean tables for us to sit at and asked if he could clean one. His response was “yea, we’ve been busy”. Nothing more and walked by us to go to take someone’s order. We waited a total of about 15 minutes and this server kept doing other tasks. We saw two more families come in behind us. They eventually sat down at dirty tables. We opted to leave. It’s a shame that was our experience as we drove 30 minutes to dine there from Chapin. We’ll go back to the 5 Point Location but hope others have a better experience at this...

I ordered the lemongrass beef, the flavor was so good- I mean delicious however that was immediately nullified when I saw these hair like looking strands on each piece of beef , I thought it have been pieces of the veggies , but no it was each piece of beef . It was disgusting 🤢. I will never eat here again. Btw I’m not being culturally insensitive, I’ve been to Vietnam before -I ate the food while I was there - I had absolutely no problems , I love Vietnamese food However this experience has made me hesitant- I know inflation has made restaurateurs cut cost but I pray they are not using alternative forms of meat to offset increasing cost . However in the end Pho viet definitely lost a customer. Just gross.

Excellent atmosphere and great service. I got #64 (BBQ beef with rolls and vermicelli) and wife got #80 (shrimp with veggies and yellow noodles). Both were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh. The wait for food was maybe 15-20 minutes, but well worth it based on the quality of the food. Serving sizes are very generous, especially for the price. Two entrees, two waters, and a $5 tip came to $24.78. we will definitely be going back. They do takeout as well. Side note that I really appreciate: the only single-use plastics I saw were the straws. They provide you chopsticks and a soup spoon. I'm sure you can get a fork, knife, or regular spoon upon request.
