D'Medallo Fast Food — Restaurant in Elizabeth

I saw this spot pop up on maps yesterday and the sight of the exploding cheese burger and the chorizo cheeseburger intrigued me enough to give this spot a visit, even tho it's located in that annoying place known as elmora ave. I walked in and was greeted by a lovely little dining area and lovely staff. It was cute to watch them get excited about the first snow of the season today.

The menu was impressive as they had pictures and little gifs of everything tho if you're a noob who just walked in and didn't know Spanish then there might be a lil trouble understanding what you exactly you were ordering cuz as lovely as the staff was, they couldn't translate the menu very well and had to delve back to the manager to fully translate for me.

The owner was a really nice man and showed initiative that he was going to update the menu soon as the menus were a new thing implemented. Very impressive work.

The food and presentation was pretty good. Everything came on the little cast iron skillet. The burger was juicy and the fries were just right. DMedallo serves up delicious, authentic Colombian food that’s bursting with flavor. I tried the Arepamix an Arepa with mixed chicken and beef, and it was absolutely amazing and full of rich taste. My wife ordered the Ceviche de Chicharrón, which was exceptional, while my daughters enjoyed their chicken tenders and fries from the kid's menu, finishing every bite. The natural juices are truly 100% natural, made with real fruit pulp, and the cups they serve them in are beautifully hand-painted, adding a lovely personalized touch to the experience. The service here is top-notch, making you feel warmly welcomed and taken care of. I highly recommend DMedallo for anyone wanting to experience authentic Colombian fast food —if I could give it more stars, I would! I’ll definitely be a regular here.

Damn I don’t even know where to begin the food,the foooooood!!! It’s delicious!!!. There was so many delicious options in the menu from the arepas to the delicious drinks. We had the arepa de carne(delicious!) the maduro inmaduro(amazingly delicious 🤤) the patacon de camarones(makes your mouth water)!!. For the appetizer we had the 3 arepitas de carne,pollo, and chicharrón and everything was so good. People you have to come here and enjoy this delicious and mouth watering food straight from Colombia. We had a chorizo that was the best chorizo we had ever had in our life it tasted fresh and soft so good I have never tasted a chorizo as as good this.Definitely my new favorite spot and I’m definitely coming back here.
