I ordered Sancocho through doordash at 1 am just coming back from work. It was the only place open that served this kind of food at this hour. The delivery was fast and I had no issues with the door dash driver or anything. My issue is when I received the food. I opened the bag, took out the sides (rice and salad) and when I pulled out the sancocho, there was a date on the lid 12/09/2023. Now, today is 12/17/2023. Can you imagine my shock when I saw the date. I wondered if that was the expiration date or that was when it was made, but either way, sancocho doesn’t last past 4 days and if frozen 3-4 months. But the sancocho was really hot, so they either microwaved it to the extreme or did something. To me, if it was regular soup like noodle soup that didn’t have pork and beef, I wouldn’t have been that concerned and ate some, but the fact that it had pork freaked me out. Now, I already complained to doordash and they returned my money, but I’m extremely worried about other clients that ate sancocho today. Did they get expired food too or was I just a 1 in a million. I attempted to call the restaurant 2x but it was sent to voice mail, and even thought it was now 2 am they don’t close until 3, so they should have staff there still. But please, for the restaurant staff, double check your food before you serve it. This is not only disgusting to serve but extremely dangerous. AGRESSIVE RUDE WAITRESS, AWFUL EXPERIENCE AFTER BUYING FOODS AND DRINKS. HARRASMENT and THREATENING to a CUSTOMER

Two rude servers were forcing us to move to a different table because we were not buying $200 bottles. Disappointed experience that involved an altercation with security outside the establishment.

We came to watch the Copa America games, and my original paid tap was over $100. After 3 hours of food and alcohol consumption, we wanted our last round of drinks. So my friend opened the last tap. The server explained that the table we were sitting at do not qualify for regular drinks after 9 pm, and we needed to buy $200 bottle service. I explained we would just watch the second half of the game and leave anyway. But the server insisted that we needed to move to a different area. Then ANOTHER WAITRESS came to THREATEN us with security. We were denied service at the end. The server didn't even bring the check after denying service. WE WAITED FOR SERVICE AND NOTHING. We left the place, and WAITRESS came agressesively to grab me by my arm, bouncers jumped up on me, and I told them to keep their hands off me or I would call the police. The waitress argued that we didn't pay the $30 bill to which I replied that they denied us service after being there for hours and consuming food and drinks AND DIDNT EVEN BRING THE CHECK. Bouncers and security agreed with me and apologized for what happened since they didn't know the situation with the waitress. I paid the tap anyway and security said there was no manager available to solve this unfortunate situation

The customer is always right and need to be treated differently. I came to enjoy drinks and food with friends and we were treated so awfully, with harassment, discrimination for not purchasing $200 bottle, and violently threatening with security.

MESERA RUDA AGRESIVA, EXPERIENCIA HORRIBLE DESPUÉS DE COMPRAR COMIDAS Y BEBIDAS. ACOSO y AMENAZAMIENTO CONTRA CLIENTE

Dos meseras groseras nos querian obligar a movernos a una mesa diferente porque no estábamos comprando botellas de $ 200. Experiencia decepcionante que implicó un altercado con seguridad fuera del establecimiento.

Vinimos a ver los partidos de la Copa América y mi pago original era de más de $100. Después de 3 horas de consumo de comida y alcohol, queríamos nuestra última ronda de bebidas. Entonces mi amigo abrió una cuenta para ordenar. La mesera explicó que la mesa en la que estábamos sentados no califica para bebidas regulares después de las 9 pm y que necesitábamos comprar un servicio de botella de $ 200. Le expliqué que simplemente veríamos la segunda mitad del juego y nos iríamos de todos modos. Pero la mesera rudamente insistió en que necesitábamos trasladarnos a un área diferente. Luego vino OTRA CAMARERA a AMENAZARNOS con seguridad. Al final nos negaron el servicio. La mesera ni siquiera trajo el cheque después de negar el servicio. ESPERAMOS SERVICIO Y NADA. Salimos del lugar y la CAMARERA vino agresivamente a agarrarme del brazo, los de seguridad saltaron sobre mí y les dije que me quitaran las manos de encima o llamaría a la policía. La camarera argumentó que no pagamos la factura de $ 30 a lo que respondí que nos negaron el servicio después de estar allí durante horas y consumir alimentos y bebidas Y NI SIQUIERA TRAJERON EL CHEQUE. Los chicos de seguridad estuvieron de acuerdo conmigo y se disculparon por lo sucedido ya que no conocían la situación con la mesera Pagué el cheque de todos modos y la seguridad dijo que no había ningún administrador disponible para resolver esta desafortunada situación.

Amazing bandeja paisa chicharrón! Best chicharrón we’ve had even compared to our dining in Columbia! Was to a perfect crisp without the gooey fat texture. The beans are on point, ordered a side to go and everyone was fighting for it the next day! The skirt steak was well seasoned, perfectly cook to well done BUT tiny as if for the kids menu! The combo appetizer was great, our daughter ate two of the big empanadas and called dibs on the 3rd one to take home . Drinks can be VERY pricey especially if you order up on the tequila like Don Julio with margaritas or the recommended passion drink. Definitely look at pricing if on a budget or don’t want to pay $18 for a drink. Small Sangria pitcher is worth it as it wasn’t watered down with ice but they don’t do single servings. Since gratuity is included be prepared to flag staff when you want something. Make a reservation for weekend night time as we were told our table was reserved more than 2 hours before the time of the RSVP and given a kind reminder with a paper on the table while dining.
