I am very disappointed and how Jayden Sweets on North Broad St treated my mother. We have been loyal customers for quite some time and have spread the word to friends and family about how great their cakes are. We ordered a cake to be picked up on a Saturday and were surprised that the cake did not taste like others we have ordered. My mother called the following Monday to let them know that the cake did not taste the same and was inquiring if the recipe had changed. The man who answered responded with an attitude saying "You should bring your own recipe". After they hung up, a woman called my mother back to say "Are you on drugs? I haven't even made any cakes today so you can't be talking about my cakes". My mother made her aware that we ordered the cake for Saturday. It is a shame that a business treats a customer like this and not only will we not be returning, but we will no longer be recommending Jayden Sweets. This small bakery in New Jersey has been my favorite since it opened near my house. The owners are always friendly, and their service is top-notch. While there are only two seats, it’s perfect for takeout.

Their sandwiches are freshly made with soft bread, crisp ham, and cheese, grilled just right for a nice crunch. I usually pair mine with their fries, which are golden, well-seasoned, and always fresh.

I highly recommend their flan—it’s smooth, rich, and full of flavor!
