I was happy to be present for the soft opening on Friday, May 10, 2019. Was pleased throughout the evening to see a steady flow of patrons, many whom I know or have met, who’ve been waiting for a place to commune, share fine beer and stories of our beautiful home on the Doe and Watauga Rivers.

Michael and Cheri bring what can only be described as a delightfully light hearted charm to downtown! A much needed breath of fresh air into what once felt decayed. The laughter and warm embraces that greet you as the door swings open pours out onto the charming patio in the back. With hints of yesterday cemented into the building and a promise of friendship in the air, this place gives you more than you would ever expect.
