Fatt Mustard Cafe — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

I just want to share our good experience at this restaurant. My friends and I went here for a quick snack. They have burgers, so we really like the idea of it. The place is also pretty cool, having that interesting décor, which is what my friends and I talked about while waiting for our orders. The service is friendly and fast. We were really accommodated well from the very start until the last minute of us inside. Their burger is not huge, but it definitely tastes good. I mean, it is not the best burger I could recommend, but it is definitely good and at a reasonable price. The staff said that they made their burgers fresh daily, and I could agree with that. It is indeed fresh, and maybe that's why the burger is good. Their fries are fresh as well, and I got the perfect crisp on each one of the fries that came with my burger. My friends also enjoyed their burgers, and before leaving the restaurant, we seriously talked about going back to it, and I am pretty sure...

I have been trying to go to Fatt Mustard for years, but never had the chance because of their goofy hours. I was finally able to make it there last week and it was phenomenal. I ordered the Italian beef with sweet peppers and French fries. The food is served in this big metal pan. The fresh cut fries are delicious and enough for 2 or 3 people. The Italian beef was juicy and had a nice blend of seasoning. For an added bonus they used red peppers which really gave off a nice sweet flavor. This sandwich had enough beef to easily make 2 sandwiches. The only little ding I would give them is that the bread they are using doesn't hold up to that sandwich and the bottom falls apart. I will definitely be going back to this place. Plenty of other menu items that I want to try. If you are in the area during their hours of operation I highly recommend...

My co-workers and I go here for lunch fairly often. The menu is packed with specialty burgers and sandwiches (it always takes me a while to choose.) In addition, they have some specialities like the baseball - Italian beef on a meatball sandwich, and daily specials. Of the two daily specials, one always sends good to me, which makes choosing much easier. Today I had the Marc Cuban - a Cuban sandwich made with pulled pork instead of roasted pork. It was very good.

Most menu items come with either fresh cut fries or tater tots. You can't go wrong with either. Their fries are crispy, while still tasting like a potato. Their tots are fried to crispy perfection. You can also get waffle cut sweet potato fries, if you are so inclined.
