I want to begin this review by highlighting the outstanding customer service I experienced here—truly the best I’ve encountered anywhere! The establishment is renowned for its oxtail sandwiches, which deserve a solid 10/10. They are incredibly filling, featuring generous portions of tender oxtail meat without any undesirable fat or bones. The woman at the front, who has a distinctive hairstyle, exudes a strong sense of ownership and provides exceptional service. While I believe it is Black-owned, I cannot confirm that. I typically order and enjoy my meals in the car, as it’s worth savoring. One minor drawback is the lack of clear signage on the building, which makes it slightly difficult to locate.

Dorrie's is pretty new to that area so at 1st I thought I had the wrong place because their name isn't on the sign. They are sharing the space with another business. So there's gaming and a full bar offered. Everyone I encountered was nice. I do recommend ordering in advance if u don't plan to eat their or in a rush. I went around the time they opened and it took about 20 mins for me to get food. I also ate their. The oxtail philly was really good. Enough to take home for leftovers. Surprisingly, I rewarmed it in the oven and it wasn't as great as when I first bit into it. I would like to patronize it more but it is a bit too far for me. I took this trip to try it and support.

Decided to give Dorrie's a try, support small business, etc and I understood beforehand based on reviews that there would be a wait for "fresh" food. The girl took my order and did not mention anything about it which is fine as I knew but I did not expect it would be so for what I ordered.

I ordered a burger. Nothing fancy or complicated about that. Just a burger. I waited and waited and waited - over FORTY FIVE MINUTES! Several patrons and food delivery service drivers had their orders before mine - some waving as they left and there I sat 🤦🏻‍♀️

I asked for my order to be canceled and refunded and that's when she turns the menu display around and shows me a pink post it note that reads 30-40 minute wait and proceeds to explain that fresh food takes longer. (So timing is definitely an issue as she was prepared to defend).

That makes absolutely no sense when it comes to a basic menu item such as a burger. If truly fresh it would have cooked sooner.

As I insisted my order be canceled, magically my order is ready. At this point about a total of FIFTY MINUTES had gone by since I placed order. I didn't want to argue so I grabbed bag and left. I inspected burger when I arrived home and there's no way that was a fresh patty. I was so upset and disgusted with the entire experience that I threw it away.

If that's how long it takes for food to be served perhaps Dorries should change their business model to just pick up only and not dine in.

Extremely overpriced as well. It was $22 for that burger

I will never...

If I could give Dorrie’s Kitchen more than 10 stars, I absolutely would! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The hospitality was just as amazing; the owners were so warm and welcoming, truly making you feel like part of the family. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like VIPs.

My husband had the Oxtail y'all, this was out of this world! The meat was so tender, and there was no shortage of oxtail, seriously enough to make you want to dance. I had the rasta pasta, and I’ve never been happier with my choice. My kids loved their meals too one had a hamburger and fries, the other chicken fingers and fries, and everything was absolutely finger-licking good.

By the time we were done, I was stuffed to my neck in a full-on food coma! We're definitely coming back—this place is so good, I've already sent out a mass message to friends and family telling them, “If you haven’t heard about Dorrie's, start running there NOW!” Seriously, this food is the kind of good that’ll make you want to slap your mama! Don’t miss it, folks! You...

I would say food was decent but the service was not the owner took my order and she miss spelled my name so there was a mixup with me getting my order after I told the cashier some white lady with braces what I had order and how much I spent she refuse to give me my order then I ask to speak with the person who took my order which was the owner she refused to go get her I spent over 80 dollars at this place and still left a ten dollar tip which most don’t tip anything I also showed her my transaction then the two cooks in the back had the nerve to yell they have nobody with a order under my correct name they supposed to be cooking not worrying about what our conversation was that’s why the owner was chewing them out for not moving with a sense of urgency and fulfilling the...
