Your bartenders and security should be able to read an id- I believe the bartender was named linda, there was a door guy although he was playing slots upon first entry. linda denied our ids claiming they were “stickers” but said she would give them back as if she was doing a favor, which is completely illegal if she thought the ids were fake. i told her if she took it i’d have to call the police since i needed my drivers license. the door guy also said they were fake and even asked who let us in as I mentioned we come often, the DMV let us in dude. The bartender got completely irate and cussed at us. I had been trying to ask her to calm down to which she continued to get more irate and even furthered her insane temper. The blond female bar tender was very rude telling my friend "he needed to hurry up" with a rotating hand motion while serving him. They are making a whopping $30 profit off selling $2 water bottles because they don't offer FREE WATER? That blows my mind. First thing comes to mind is sewage issues? Bad water? Because why not serve free water? ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE EXCEPTING CASH ONLY AFTER 2AM?! I watch these girls getting free drinks from men then asking for hydration and denied water because they don't have money! Do you know how many women go to bars, Especially the after bars (2-4am) with no money because men will pay for drinks all night, but denied free water? And I think it's bs that you have to spend $10 at the ATM to get cash because they only take cash after 2am. The place is a BIG SCAM HOLE IN THE WALL! 1 STAR FOR MY FREE WATER EVEN THO THE BAR TENDER THAT GAVE IT TO ME TOLD ME HE WAS THE MANAGER...

I'd like to say, I almost never leave reviews. But thank you to the Korner House staff, whose names I unfortunately did not get because I was so exhausted. After the bartender listened to my travel woes and how I ended up there, she went above and beyond to take care of me. From someone who works in restaurants as well, thank you! The food was amazing, the music choice was excellent and the staff made me feel better after the day I had. If I was staying in the area for longer than just tonight, I would be back but sadly I will have to wait for an intended trip to Chicago to enjoy this place again.
