Subway — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

I frequent this Subway quite often as it is right by my office and going forward, I will never return to this location again. I would rather drive 100 + miles to another Subway instead of spending one more cent at this location. Every week, the quality of the ingredients proceed to get worse and worse and worse, today being absolute worst. The meat must have been left out for days as the taste was atrocious and the bacon put on my sandwich should not even be fed to stray dogs let alone human so I threw it away which was $1.50 in the trash. The employees try to talk to you and act as though they are your friend, only to try to hide the fact they are serving the lowest grade ingredients possible. Take it from a person who is not picky and will basically eat anything, the owners of this establishment should be imprisoned for serving such inferior foods that again, I wouldn't feed to a stray animal as I would feel bad for knowingly getting...

Service was TERRIBLE! I stood there waiting to be acknowledged/greeted for several minutes. Finally the guy behind me in line asked if I was ready? I replied yes, I am waiting for the guy behind the counter. Never said Hello, may I help you? just stood there with a dry rude expression. I started to leave but I just drove 2 hours from Milwaukee and need something to take to my hotel. He put no lettuce nothing on the first footlong he told me onions & bell peppers go on it and slid the sandwich down. I just wanted to get out of there before I lost my cool & caused a scene. $33 for two footlong sandwiches one almost bare no veggies; 2 sodas & 2 chips. Lesson well received! The employee behind the counter speaks little English and is hard to understand, which makes any interaction difficult. In addition, this location opens at 9am but, the employee will try to get you to leave and return at 10am as an excuse to not work. When asked if there were salads or apples offered, I was told there were not, despite being on the menu. It is clear this employee simply has a poor work ethic and will make excuses in order to work as little as possible. The employee does not show respect while on the job as he attempts to deceive customers, will not make a dish if it is too time consuming, and can at times be seen talking on the phone while taking orders.
