Heng Fat has fast, fresh tasting food. The eatery is small and family owned, so there is a sense of pride in the dishes. Because of cleanliness issues (the building has old, dirty carpet, the walls are dirty, etc) I dropped a star; I prefer to take out. The younger folks that answer the phone will generally give a greeting, but a few times that I've called and am older woman answered she simply said, "hello," so I had no idea if I was calling the correct number. My only dislike is the Tomato Beef Chow Mein. The honey walnut shrimp was the grossest I ever had in my life. I could tell when I opened the box it was not a fresh dish by the withered and soggy cabbage. I just left after throwing up in their bathroom My daughter and I shared the orange chicken and she told me she didn't want the last piece. When I Took the bite I noticed something black I tapped it on the plate ..... A big dead fly :( I told the waiter he didn't really care charged me full price and said " we didn't cook it with fly It just got there some how". Really???
