Sports Time Family Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Elkhart

I would give this place -5 stars if I could. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. My wife and I were meeting family here for a birthday dinner. When we arrived we were taken to the back of the restaurant where a portable partition was in place that separated us from the rest of the diners. Didn't think much of it at first but I quickly figured out that 2 children were a problem for this establishment. Our server showed up to get a drink order and the evening went down hill from there. We waited almost 20 minutes just to place our orders. The menu consisted of bar food and sandwiches that were extremely overpriced. I ordered a Reuben that cost $13.00. After waiting over an hour we were finally served. Did I mention that there was a 20% gratuity on parties of 6 or more? "Why would this matter?" you ask. Well our party consisted of 4 separate tickets, 2 to 3 members each ticket, totaling 10 people. Not a huge number but it was over 6 people. The problem was that during our 2 hour ordeal we watched our server visit the table of five next to us on 4 separate occasions. NOT ONCE acknowledging our existence. I had to yell to get her attention, on her 3rd visit to their table, in order to get a second drink. The server did not give a second thought to her guaranteed 20% tip. She focused on the 5 top instead. My wife and I each had a sandwich, and an order of fried mushrooms. She had a lemonade and I had 2 cocktails. Our bill was over $85.00! I have had better Reubens at "truckstop" diners. We WILL NEVER...

From the moment I walked into Sports Time, I was greeted with nothing but warmth and respect. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of the entire time. The customer service here is truly top-tier, friendly, fast, and genuine. 🙏

And the food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite was packed with flavor, served hot, fresh, and just the way I like it. Whether you're craving wings, burgers, or game-day comfort food, this place does it right.

I'm so sorry that a lot of restaurants in this area serve trash fish instead of codfish on thier menus. My wife and I went to Sport Time yesterday. Nice place. She ordered pulled pork and I ordered the fish. I was quite disappointed. Dried out 38th of an inch skinny so called filets is not what I had in mind. Unfortunately everywhere in this area is serving this type of fish usually 75 percent of breading and maybe 25 percent of trash fish. I was able to find one place that still cared about customers! Hilltop in Middlebury has real codfish lightly breaded and delicious. I refuse to pay for trash fish they advertise as fish is beyond me! Wake up Elkhart! Fish eaters want good...
