The food was ok and out pretty quickly, like most McDonald's are. The unsatisfying part about our visit was witnessing the way a particular employee was treated. We didn't quite catch her name but we think we heard someone call her Julianne. If that's not her name it was a female with brown hair she appeared to be pregnant and most definitely new because she kept asking for help and had a foot print tattoo on her left arm and writing on her right arm. She was extremely nice to us and thoroughly took our order, she was smiling the moment we walked in till the time we left which was about an hour. Within that hour we watched, I am assuming a manager, be rude to her and roll her eyes at her numerous times. We didn't catch her name either but she has a star tattoo behind her right ear, brown hair up in a bun, and had a grayish and white jacket on. She was just all around rude from the way she acted and the looks she gave. We ourselves even caught some of the bad looks. She walked around drinking her coffee and wanted to be rude to the cashier that didn't get back to the register fast enough to wait on a customer that had literally just walked up. She got back as fast as she could she looked to be a little farther along in her pregnancy where walking was becoming more difficult. If they didnt have a pregnant woman mopping floors and checking bathrooms it wouldn't be hard for her to get to customers as quickly as they expected. She was doing has best and it was evident she was honestly trying to please them and get her things done. Even when she asked for help figuring out how to do something with the order everyone acted like it was a horrible problem to show her what she needed to do, even another manager! I know things get busy and hectic but if that's such a problem as we witnessed tonight then there needs to be a better plan for how to train employees. We honestly felt bad for her and the environment she has to work in. Management is supposed to be there to help and lead. My fiance and I are both managers in fast paced environments and are often stressed so we understand how things can be but that was unacceptable, especially in the eye of customers. And the worst part was the amount of times it happened just in our short 1 hour sitting. They need to find better management more appropriate for the job because those there tonight at 6:30pm...
Read moreHave you ever wanted to wait in a line that’s 45 minutes long just to be given chocolate chip cookies in a McNugget box, instead of the McNuggets that you ordered?
Have you ever returned to said store to get your nuggets, only to be given a McDouble in a McNugget box instead?
Boy do I have a store for you.
Alright so first things first..I’ve lived in this area for a decent chunk of my life, and the line for this McDonald’s will not EVER be any less than out one side of the parking lot one way, and all the way out to the town hall the other way. Just get used to it, it is what it is. Apples grow on trees, oranges are orange, and this place is chaos. There will never be any “we’re coming back later when they’re less busy.”
Secondly, your order will be wrong. Not only will it be wrong, like “fast food is hectic and mistakes are made” wrong, but like, “I sometimes go to this McDonald’s just to see what will end up in my bag” wrong. Heck, the only time I left satisfied with my order was this past time when they accidentally gave me double what I ordered. Even when they get it right, it still somehow manages to be wrong. Can’t explain it.
Thirdly, if you get anything that’s even mildly uncommon-not like, secret menu uncommon, but like, chicken sandwich uncommon lol- you will be told to pull forward. They will forget about you. And you’ll probably be in the wrong space, because the spaces that are directly in front of the drive thru are apparently not for pulling forward from the drive thru when someone tells you to do so. Idk, again, can’t explain it.
Giving two stars instead of one though, because the place is honestly so jacked up that it can be...
Read moreRUDE! Rude!! RUDE!! I was highly disappointed in the service I received tonight at the Elkton location..Met up with some friends for a late night snack.. I was told by the cashier before I ever placed my order ”I’m just letting you know that we close in 15 minutes” I kindly replied “I’m aware of that”. My order was placed at 10:38 (time on the receipt) and we got it IN A TO GO BAG at 10:59.. I’m assuming they thought that would get us out of there quicker.. the employees talked very loudly to each other across the restaurant as they cleaned up around us.. “You have 60 seconds to get the door locked” “I should have already been out of here” Very rude and Inappropriate behavior when you have customers in the lobby.. My husband had his suit jacket on the back of the chair and the girl mopping actually run the mop under his jacket and got it wet! When the manager was confronted about the service that we received, she began making up excuses as to why it happened.. “Someone in your group dropped some trash on the floor so we assume y’all was a messy group” (A 10 year old unintentionally dropped something) How unprofessional for a manager!!! Do all “messy” groups get the same treatment?!? If they hadn’t taken 20 minutes to get us our food we wouldn’t have been 11:10 leaving!! Poor management to...
