I go here a lot with my husband and daughter. We love this place. It is right up the street from where I grew up. I love this place. I was craving marinated crabs. I dreamed of having this korean delicacy! They had it and I'm in love. I saved the rest for my mom to eat.
New Review as of June 19, 2024 Y-E-T-N-A-L House: A Timeless Culinary Treasure
Y-E-T-N-A-L House has been more than just a restaurant to me; it's a cherished part of my life and memories. Since childhood, my father and I would come here, savoring the rich, authentic flavors that have made this place a beloved staple in the community. Even after my father's passing, Y-E-T-N-A-L House remains a beacon of warmth and nostalgia, a testament to our shared love for its exquisite cuisine.
Recently, I visited with friends, eager to share the culinary delights that have been a constant in my life. We started with the marinated crabs, a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate, perfectly seasoned and tender. The pancake with kimchi and a variety of vegetables was a delightful mix of textures and tastes, crispy on the outside and bursting with fresh, tangy goodness inside.
Accompanied by a vibrant assortment of banchan, each dish complemented our bowls of steaming rice perfectly. But the highlight of our meal was the beef rib soup. Its rich, savory broth and tender, succulent ribs were simply divine, a true testament to the culinary mastery at Y-E-T-N-A-L House.
Every visit here feels like a warm embrace, a connection to my past and a joy to share with others. The food is consistently excellent, the atmosphere welcoming, and the memories priceless. Y-E-T-N-A-L House is not just a restaurant; it's a cherished part of my heart and a cornerstone of our community. My friends and I enjoyed every minute of our meal, and I look forward to many more visits...
ย ย ย Read moreCondescending waitress with terrible attitude and no respect whatsoever.
I went there for catering to pick up the food. I said I am here to pick up the food order from my org. She was gone for a while and she was just mumbling words mixed with konglish which I had a hard time understanding what she was saying.
Then she was saying "Do you not understand korean? Do you want me to speak in English?" First of all, I would have understood if she didn't mumble. Second, there is no need to be condescending. I finally answered what she was saying but basically the same thing I said earlier "I am here to pick up the catering order from the organization รรร."
Then we handed out the paper for tax exempt because it is school related. She was acting like she understood what she was doing. They have done the tax exempt last year. It is the same order as last year.
I clearly said that this is a tax exempt form. Do not include the tax. That person was asking if she can keep the paper and I said fine.
The lady charged us with tax and she said yeah idk how to do it and we dont have a person who knows how to do it. They were using one of the old machine where you put the price in the card reader. Like they can just put the number without tax. She was just lazy to do it.
I didnt have enough time to argue back to cancel that payment and pay without tax
Food was fine but not the best.
I really want to support especially the restaurant run by immigrants and/or foreigners but her attitude is not acceptable in any sort.
My colleagues said she didn't have this problem last year. We will consider changing the restaurant since there is no benefit of coming all the way here to order with all those...
ย ย ย Read moreWow.. how the "Mighty" have fallen. I have been a patron at this restaurant since the day it opened (literally). I've eaten at this restaurant at all hours (morning and night) throughout the years. This place initially made it's name by hitting all the right cords, great tasting food, solid menu, friendly staff, inviting environment and interior, all at a low price. They even offered good rice cakes and side dishes to boot. I understand that as you get more established, so does your overhead. So I fully expected the prices to rise over the years. What I didn't expect was the decline in food quality and service. This happened rather rapidly, during the years that they had (sort of) a monopoly on Korean food in the area (there really wasn't a lot of alternatives at the time). Now, the staff is very unfriendly, food isn't great (Not terrible but certainly doesn't justify the new price), and overall the experience isn't a good one. The area has had a somewhat of a boom with Korean restaurants. I highly recommend venturing elsewhere. It'll very much be...
