Checo's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Ellington

Me my husband and our 3yr old went in today and had the best experience ever. We went in and didn't realize that we might not of had enough money to cover the bill. Our waitress Gabriella offered to cover our bill. We told her that she didn't have to we could go somewhere else, but she insisted that she would cover it. She just wanted us to enjoy our time and their food. Turns out we had just enough to cover our bill, but this woman absolutely awesome to try to help us out. The food was absolutely amazing, Gabriella was absolutely amazing and she even talked with our son and got him everything he wanted and helped him with the straw wrapper. All in all we had a very pleasant time...

Me and my fiance got sick as hell from here, margherita was all sweet and sour margarita mix, food was spoiled, over greasy, over salty, plainly put not edible. When I spoke with manager of the place trying to find out what the hell they gave us he said to call the board of health. In my opinion this place needs to be condemned then burnt down. I really tried to like this place but last few times I’ve been there it’s just been so dissatisfying. Went there again and two waitresses was arguing over who’s doing what in front of customers. Same waitress was cussing at the cooks in Spanish. Some of us do speak Spanish too an they should be more aware. At the end of the meal we find packaging for food in our cooked food.
