McDonald's — Restaurant in Ellington

I've never had a good experience at this mcdonalds. I go here because it's local and close to where I work at lunch time. I've never had a time where something didn't go amiss. You will wait 10 minutes in an empty line, they will not open at the time they say in the AM, they will send you to wait for your food on the other side to keep their drive thru times down in review, they will get you order wrong, they will have the kitchen in disgusting shape, every other worker is actually special needs, which is not a problem in itself in my opinion but there needs to be a point where you go okay 5 out of 10 of our crew are like that and it's affecting everything they are responsible for. Not trying to sound hateful or bigoted but it's wild how many work at this store. I won't extrapolate on why I believe that's the case, it could be some sort of quota they have to meet, it could be the fact that they don't actually have to pay them minimum wage (look into that it's messed up) I really don't know though. Avoid this mcdonalds though...

I couldn't get my picture to post but it was 22:40 and a hand written sign was on the drive thru speaker saying closed early due to staff shortages.... The parking lot is empty and this is Ellington... I have worked in the restaurant field for over 20 years and I have ran solo with lines out the door. This generation is different I suppose but at least change the hours online so I won't waste my gas or time thinking your open. Franchisee needs to up the game here. I see people inside by the fryers dining room dark but google time says open I'm in. You hear me ask a question at the speaker please don't test my IQ or patience. I understand the issue but respond back why and how long it will be like this so I don't come back again in the future and waste everyone's time.

Funny story at the end of the day I came to Wendy's in Vernon and there is only one girl and she was sweet as pie with a line of cars. I guess my order will pay for for her paycheck and I will get real...

I went through the drive through to place my order and the display was not light. I told the worker if she didn't that it wasn't light and it was hard to read. No response at all! So I tried to order my multiple meals by memory. After ordering drove to the window the lights weren't on there either. The server was very quiet did not talk, not welcoming. And no one was helping her. The other Co worker was on the other side of the counter bent over on her cell phone. The other coworkers which I could not see, but boy you can hear them! Yelling and laughing banging on things. I assuming they were teenagers and I get it. But there are times you need to be professional. I waited a very long time for my meal, I even took a picture of the number for the service number.. after all that my large fries were half empty and all the meals were not hot. Next time I'm going...
