Christina is a wonderful hostess, bartender, barback, waitress, mixologist and food runner. Awesome, happy energy emanates from her and is infectious making it a good time at Airline. The food is delicious! Clam chowder is the best I've had. I like that it's got body and not super thick with flour. It's wonderfully seasoned with herbs and not overly salted. Beers are fantastic. They have 12 beers on draft and 4 on hand pumps. We ordered the Cornish Pasties and it moved the Earth. The pastry was flaky and filled with tender chunks of flavorful beef. On the side were fresh peas that popped in your mouth and fresh mashed potatoes. Definitely drop by this gem of a pub.

Love trying new breweries and new food in different locations. It was so good we had to go back again. Busy both nights, but not a problem at all. Great food, beer, and friendly service. Get get there early. It's a smaller place with a smaller staff. Don't get bent out of shape if they are packed, have to wait outside, or if you have poor taste buds. The loaded PB&J burger was great and the Sticking Pudding was even better. The Irish Eny, Irish Envy Nitro, Peanut Butter Stout, and Oatmeal Stout were all great and filled with flavor. We'll be back again on our next 1,500 mile journey.

Imo, an excellent wee pub with great beers! They have a selection of cask ales, including a Scottish Export, which literally no one brews. It's a proper Scottish beer, light and malty and no peak smoke as many attribute to a "Scotch Ale". They also offer food. We only tried the pub pretzels, but they were very nice. It was wonderful to find a brewpub serving proper British style ales. If something stronger is what you require, they have a fine selection of Scotch to please the Scotch heads among you. If you're in the area; its a must see.

It's ok. Definitely more pub than brewery. We stopped by as a family for food and drinks a couple of months back. (We were visiting the area for a family trip.) Service could be better. Our server was great; she was pleasant and upbeat and gave some good recommendations, but she mixed up one of the beers and it took a very long time for the food to come out.

We ordered bangers and mash, a salad, and a soup to share. Apparently my parents said that when we reminded her 30 mins after she looked surprised and nervous looking at her device. They think she forgot to press send for the food order. I was forgiving because she was the only person and also acting bartender. Place was full but not packed, some hanging around and playing cards, but two table were available and needed cleaning. I saw another staff walk in, but even then no one cleaned the tables during our time there, and two parties were turned away. I think it was a Monday, because I personally wanted to check out Fogtown (sorry) and they were closed.

We wanted to cancel the food order and just pay for the drinks because it was so long but she insisted it would be out soon. After my parents saw her tinkering with the ordering device, the food literally comes out five mins later. At that point we had to go and made it take out. At the hotel, the bangers literally looked like two long hot dogs over some mash in your standard white square take out box. I know plating in house looks better, but basically, it looked so bare and minimum it was ridiculous and not worth the price. They forgot the dressing for the salad (also ridiculously minimum in container). And the soup wasn't even filled up halfway.

All in all, the beer was fine and the food was ok. I loved the designs on the right side of the place as you walked in. I think different pictures of people in top hats or what not. I like seeing people chill and play cards and having a beer. We were lucky to find parking right around the corner. I wish there was another server present so half our order wasn't forgotten. The presentation for take out could be way more forgiving. Especially if it gets forgotten for at least 30 mins and then comes out in 5 mins when reminded. The bangors were good, but I wish I didn't loose the picture I took at the hotel because you can't help but laugh your head off at the take out presentation at that price...

Got our drinks quickly, and they were good, but that's the end of the good experience. When server came to drop our drinks he didn't ask if we were ready to order (we were). He never came back so we finally ordered at the counter. Food took a little long to come, mine was very underwhelming. I got the classic baked potato, and though it was what was described on the menu, it was very disappointing. Just a baked potato, sliced in half, with melted cheese dropped on it. Potato not fluffed, cheese not flavorful, no salt or seasoning to speak of(had to ask for salt at the bar). I expected something better for $10. My partner got the steak pie and his was well made and good. The main problem here is that we were never checked on, no asking if it was ok, no offer of another drink (ours were empty with our first bite), absolutely nothing. There were 2-3 servers/bartenders behind the bar the whole time we were there, more then enough for there to be some customer service. When the check came it was dropped and server left, even though our wallet was out and we were pulling out a card. Beer was good, looked like if you sat at the bar you got...

I hate to write this. I really do. I did not expect this at all, especially with these reviews. Three years of good service and this was the worst I can remember having. Our server (blonde) was absent for literally 45 minutes. The waitress with the brown hair was sweet and apologized for the wait when she handed me my food. But I had to flag my waitress down once for a drink after she walked by two times once the first time I came in. She walked by us a total of four times after we got our food and didn’t acknowledge us to ask about our burger I paid for, but didn’t get bacon on. I fully understand a shortage of food, of servers, or everything, but she had two other tables to care for. My girlfriend’s soup was cold, and the only time the waitress came to acknowledge me was when our food was done. She apologized for the wait and gave me a discount on the food, which I respect, but didn’t acknowledge me once other than to give me my check and to greet me. Don’t come here for good food or good service, but try the oatmeal stout!...
