Just Ka's — Restaurant in Ellsworth

We stopped by for a bite to eat about 4pm. The place was easy to find and we found a seat immediately. The waitress/bartender got us menus and drinks quickly.

We ordered the saracha curds and seasoned tots to start. The curds were delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned just right.

Our main course was the deluxe bacon burger and the crispy chicken sandwich both with fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and had an ample amount of toppings. The crispy chicken sandwich was cooked a bit on the crispy side so it had a nice crunch. It was juicy and delicious. The tomato and lettuce finished the sandwich giving it that delicious flavor we all love.

The fries were hot but a bit undercooked. The smaller fries were ok but the larger fries were a bit soggy. Another 30 seconds in the dryer would have been all they needed to be perfect.

Overall we had a pleasant experience. The food was very good, the service was exceptional, the price was great for the quality of the food. I highly recommend you stop and see for yourself how good...

My friend and I ordered a double order of the steak bites. Owner asked if we wanted garlic cooked in with the steak - we said yes. When food arrived, the steak bites were very salty- we think garlic salt was used instead of real garlic. My friend asked to have onion and mushrooms cooked with the steak - she said they were very good. Green beans and original cheese curds were good also.

It’s isn’t a smoke free environment yet thankfully no one was smoking when we were there.

There were yummy chips on the table that were tasty. The owner was pleasant, overall the food was good. If I ever go again, I’ll ask the owner to not put any salt on...

Owner was great! She left and so did the service. Ordered the steak sand and when we told her it was on the wrong bread she stated she didn't write it down like we had done something wrong. While orented to task was not friendly. ..asked for one shot and got 2...either had trouble with english of didn't want to listen.. When we tried to speak to the other bartender she defender the other ones actions...needless to say...if those two are working...we'll walk back out. Fries meh...burger very good ...steak sand could have been so much better on the Texas toast and the service would have been more responsive...but again the owner is...
