Main Street Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Ellwood City

Before COVID we are here often food was good and fair prices, I only stopped because every time we went the tables felt sticky and dirty even after they were wiped down. Today we decided to try it again as I heard it improved. We were the only ones in dining room. I noticed the huge price hikes but with what we had before COVID it was a lot of food so thought it fair. The portions were much smaller but what was the worst was the quality we both had a different chicken sandwich at 12.99- 13.99 each, the chicken was tough, mine was fried and when put on bun the oil soaked the bun, no sauce that made mine special was on the bun and the cheese had melted and cooled solid and old looking before coming to my table. The tomato was cut so thick it was thicker than the chicken and the stem was still partly in my slice. I had a salad as my side that was to be included and it was added to the bill, my son had loaded fries and it was a small portion but he was charged the $8 that was the appetizer price but the appetizer would have been much larger. I will never be going back even though I want to support local business...our waitress never checked on us kept going in the bar area and I got up to use bathroom and asked another person for our check, even then the other girl only came when the check was ready to be paid. We used to get their food all the time, and the food itself is good. However, service is an issue. My wife ordered from here last week over DoorDash and they sent her the wrong food, then we tried again this weekend because we really do like their food, but after an hour and half of waiting they cancel the order out of the blue. I contacted the business, and they said they were just too busy to make food for us. Alright, I used to cook on a line, and you have to be really busy to not be able to handle 2 entrees. On top of that, to make your customers wait well over an hour and then cancel is just embarrassing. I feel bad for our dasher who had already been sitting at their bar for 20 minutes waiting before the order was cancelled. For starters i patron this facility 3 days a week on take out for lunch and other the few mistakes the food has been good. It was my first time dining in the facility. Apon sitting at the bar it was 10 minutes before i even saw an employee. After ordering people whom ordered after me received their food and were finished with there food before my wife and i got our food, after 47 mins i finally had to get my food togo due to only getting 30mins for lunch. After paying my bill on my credit card i was going to leave a cash tip when i got my food until a remark was made and not so much as a sorry or have a nice day.
