I really liked this restaurant. I spent a couple of days in the area, and this is where I ate. The food is delicious, generous portions. You will not go away hungry. It looked like a local hangout, despite sitting on i10. So why the 3 stars instead of 5? The food deserves a 5. The cook deserves a 5. The short blond waitress deserves a 5. The tall frizzy haired blond waitress deserves fired and a kick in the pants. She was the rudest waitress I have ever encountered. Openly hostile, disrespectful. I try to keep a variety of things in mind when I go into a busy place to eat. They were busy for a while after I came in. Both waitresses were running in circles trying to manage things. No doubt, these ladies work very hard. It must be especially hard due to being short staffed. Not sure they were, but I was willing to keep in mind that being short staffed, very busy, and tired can easily lead to short tempers. I came in the second night. The frizzy haired waitress looked at me with contempt and said she would get to me. Well she didn't. She got to people who came in after me and before me. The blond waitress came around and said sorry for the wait, the other waitress will take your order soon. After about 20 minutes, she comes by again and says did frizzy hair take your order. No, she had not. I was busy trying to get a signal on my cell phone. So blond waitress taps frizzy haired waitress. After about 10 more minutes frizzy hair comes round. She glares at me and says "Yes?" Srsly? I do not know what is going on in Frizzy Hair's life. I won't speculate on it. We all know everyone hits a rough patch at times. I will say, this is the first time in my life I have been made to feel like someone was going to grab my arm and force me out of some place. So, to Frizzy Haired waitress, the reason your joint is getting a bad review is because of your hateful behavior. I recommend the food here, but I also recommend that you need get your head straight, because that kind of hostility will lose more than just me...

Me and my girlfriend found our visit to this restaurant... Disappointing. The service was poor. We received our orders fairly quickly, but we weren't looked after following that, aside from our finished plates being taken away. No one asked if we needed a refill for our drinks while we were eating, and the glasses we were provided weren't large enough to warrant that. Once we finished our meal, no one bothered to inform us that we had to pay at the register. As for the food, the only positive quality I can give it is that the portions were a decent size. My girlfriend said her chocolate milk tasted like it had just been mixed in the back with off brand Nesquik powder. I would comment on how my strawberry milkshake was, but I never received it. Our cream of lobster soup was bland, and the only thing that gave it any flavor was a few shots of hot sauce. We ordered potato skins as an appetizer, and a sinking feeling that the soup was a harbinger of the bland meal to come started to set in. The skins had more grease than flavor, and the beef they were dressed with was dry and almost tasteless. Then for the main course, we both had the chicken fried steak with a baked potato, veggies, and a dinner roll. The baked potato was fine, but it's hard to mess up a baked potato. The steak itself was also kinda bland, but the gravy helped balance it out so it was palatable. The veggies were forgettable. A few slices of zucchini, a couple little cubes of tomato, and a couple slivers of onion, all In a pool of water; undoubtedly all dumped out of a can, and again, all bland. As for the dinner rolls they were dry, and probably bulk frozen buns that had been microwaved just before they were served, judging from the mushy center of them. Overall, I'd say it was a waste of time and money. My girlfriend felt nauseous after the meal and I didn't feel much better. Just go to the Arby's...

I wish I could leave zero stars. I went into this place by myself. There were 2 waitresses, one of them looked like she was busy cleaning up, and supporting the other older gray haired waitress. The gray haired waitress swept past and indicated she would come around in a bit to take my order. The other waitress came a bit later, brought me some tea, left a menu. I waited nearly half an hour. The gray hair waitress appeared to be studiously ignoring me. After a bit the other waitress came by and asked if my order had been taken. No, I said. She said the gray haired waitress would come around. Eventually the gray haired waitress did. She was visibly angry. I had waited about 45 minutes at that point. Rudely the gray haired waitress demanded WHAT DO YOU WANT?!!. Really. She was very rude, glaring at me, sneering. I was astonished by the behavior. I have never come across such an openly vile, caustic, insulting waitress in my life. I ignored her behavior and told her what I would like. Eventually it arrived. She made very clear her contempt. I did notice that she was very courteous and friendly to the hispanic people there. She was nice to the men there. She was incredibly rude to me. I won't stop here again. I recommend no one stops here. This waitress needs fired. I hope she is. Also, if you read back through other reviews of this place, you will find numerous complaints about this...
