Sooo….it’s Sunday and I waited until 11:00 a.m. (they told me that’s when they began serving the beloved filet-o-fish sandwiches. Of course the drive-through was crazy busy so I sat in line 26 mins before ordering. I ALWAYS ask/tell them to make my sandwiches fresh. This time I ordered 3 sandwiches and requested a side of their shredded lettuce to top my fish with. The girl taking my order kept entering 2 fish and a side of tarter sauce which was .30 cents extra. I repeated 3 times “3 filet-o-fish freshly made and a side of shredded lettuce please” Well, after a total of 32 mins I get to the window and the super sweet guy say’s “3 fish and a side of tarter” I told him I had requested lettuce and not extra tarter sauce and to make sure they were made fresh. He looked a tad confused. I repeated my order one more time and he told me that my order said extra sauce and not lettuce. Sooo, after I still end up paying for sauce I didn’t order. I got my order and proceeded to drive the 42 seconds home. Well… all three sandwiches were not fresh! The fish looked like it had been soaking in oil and had shrunken to about half an inch then put onto a bun that was chewy then topped with cheese that didn’t melt and had that glossy, oily look to it; you know exactly what I’m talking about, then sat under a heat lamp just waiting for someone to rescue them. I immediately called and, just by chance, the man that answered and who I complained to (Daniel the manager) tells me that my order absolutely was made to order and that he was the one who “dropped” the fish (I gather that means he put the frozen fish into the oil) and made the sandwiches himself. I said “are you seriously going to argue with me on my interpretation of “freshly made!”. He told me he could replace them and to ask for so and so if he wasn’t there. This happens an average of 2 out of 5 times at the location where I go (Broad St. & S.Abbe in Elyria) and I’m sick of it. It’s not about being under staffed or any other excuse, that doesn’t float anymore. It’s about lack of good Cust Service and not caring about customer satisfaction. I mean, you still have to prepare the order so why can’t you do it to the customer’s satisfaction instead of people calling with complaints all the damn time! Read moreThe manager “Ryan” was very difficult and unprofessional to reason with after I spent my whole 30 mins of my break being pulled up instead of getting my food. Mind you I only work a couple minutes down the street and I go there often on my break and normally there hasn’t been an issue. Lately around my break time 11am their chicken nuggets are always burnt and rubbery. As of them pulling us up today and having to leave to make it back to work on time to clock in we ended up being late and having to use our own personal time for a whole hour for the couple minutes we missed to clock in. Waste of use for my own time only being late because of their bad establishment! There should be no excuse we had to wait 20 minutes pulled up for our food! It is ridiculous! The employees are very rude and I will never be eating at this location again! Ryan is a horrible manager and when I called to find a solution to getting a refund I was very clear that I was upset and he hung up on me. Very unprofessional Ryan Do better!!
